Firstly Zájia, how would you best describe yourself?
Model

Zájia, please tell us your talent/work rate per hour?
I am a freelance model. I do print and runway modelling. My rate is $50 per hour.

Zájia . Tell us ABOUT yourself.
I am 22 years old. I am from Canton, Ohio originally. I am a full-time student at The Ohio State University. I have had a full ride five-year academic scholarship to Ohio State since I was eleven years old. I am now approaching my last year there until I graduate.

Our readers would love to get to know you more Zájia. Tell us about yourself, what is unique about you?

What makes me unique is that I am a petite model. I am only 5"2. Therefore; I have to make myself appear longer and taller in photos and on the runway. Most people don't believe I am only 5"2 once they see me modelling but that is exactly what I want. I don't allow my height to dictate my talent.

Zájia, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Model?

My passion is to be a professional print and supermodel. I started modelling since I was 15, a talent scout found me in the mall and suggested I should become a model. I figured this happened to everyone, but it intrigued me to see what it was like. When I got to college that is when I took it more serious. I was apart of a committee for a fashion show called Heart of it All at The Ohio State University. I was only supposed to be the model coordinator in the background, but they suggested I should model too and I have never stopped since then.

Who is your inspiration in life Zájia? How do you keep inspired?

My inspiration in life is really my family. I know my mum has made sacrifices for us throughout her life. So I strive every day to make her and my family proud.

We all make mistakes Zájia; we wish we could take back. Please tell us about a time being a Model; you wish you’d handled a situation differently with a colleague.
A mistake I made that I wish I could take back was jumping straight into an "agency" without doing propper research due to the excitement. This agency demanded money at the beginning before even working with me, and I later found out that it was a scam.

Zájia, when you’re working with a large number of clients, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. As a Model, how do you go about prioritising your clients’ needs?

I communicate well with my clients. Communication is everything, and it helps bring understanding. I listen to their needs then I'll let them know how I can or cannot fulfil them at the time.

Please tell us Zájia, about a time you had to be very strategic to meet all your top priorities as a Model?

Well, I am a college student, but there was a time I had five photo shoots set up in one week on top of the school. I had to make sure I did any homework first before any of my photo shoots.

Zájia, please give us an example of a time when you were able to successfully persuade someone to see things your way at work.
I was working at bare minerals, and a woman came in with her mind made up. She told me makeup was "cakey" which is why she doesn't wear it etc. I convinced her to sit down with me so I can give her a make under and show her how not all makeup is "cakey". She ended up loving it and bought over $100 worth of makeup.

Zájia, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Model. There might be many, but there is always this proudest moment that you just want to share with everyone. What is it and why?
My most proud moment of modelling is when I got asked to be a model for a website called JaeLuxeShoetique. This is my most proud moment so far because it shows I'm getting closer to my dreams. I always wanted to be on a professional website modelling someone's brand. This is just a step forward to modelling for even bigger well-known brands.

Zájia, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?
Recently, I was creative by doing giving back to other local new models. I set up a photo shoot for two other models at a very nice hotel to help build their portfolios. It was exciting for me because I know I was helping make others dreams come true and it made me feel good as a person to know I did this for them

What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Model?

My advice is to follow your dreams! Don't let anyone tell you that you can't do it based on your appearance in any way. Network as much as you can because it is about who you know that can take you even further.

Are you looking for collaboration with fashion talents, brands and creatives? If yes, please state below what type of collaboration you are looking for?
Yes, I am. I am looking to model for their brands to possibly help bring life to their ideas and their brands.

Now for the best part Zájia! Please upload 5-10 photos so we can get to see your work.
Please add any photo credits for the photos you uploaded so that everybody can get recognised. Please fill this our properly,
