I am a professional hair and makeup artist based in London and also freelances internationally. I studied Bridal and Occasional Makeup at the University of Arts London College of Fashion. I am equipped with the qualification as well as having a creative eye to create inspiring timeless makeup, with a professional, flawless finish.
I have had the worked on Fashion shows, editorial and Model Portfolio Photoshoots.
My specialism is:

What are your goals and how do you see yourself progressing in the field Yilsen?
My goals are to build on my career in this field, teach students wishing to posses a career in this industry & possibly work alongside celebrities doing their hair and makeup for film. To progress myself I am going to keep on doing what I am doing by getting myself out there to teach my goals. My moto to life is never giving up on your dreams.
How do you communicate with people Yilsen? Are you patient? Are you friendly? How open are you to clients’ requirements?
I communicate with clients through social media Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. Working with models, they often tell me I am very gentle, kind, caring with them and very patient. I listen to my clients and attain to their needs.
If you had to do it over again, what would you change Yilsen?
If I could use so it all over again I would have changed the courses I studied at school leading more into this field of work.
Who is your hero Yilsen, and how have they helped you get to where you are?
I would say my husband is my hero because he has ways supported me in everything, and whenever I doubted to peruse my career, he would push me to make that step.
How important are creative education courses Yilsen? Have you taken any, and did you find them useful?
I believe they are very important because you can learn a lot. I have taken a few courses as knowledge is the key to success.
Do you have any tips for someone who is just starting out in the industry?
Don't be too hard on yourself. It doesn't matter how many years you spend in this field you are learning new things every day. In the hair and makeup industry, I say take as many courses as you can and keep learning through professional makeup artist's You Tube videos.
