Our readers would love to get to know you more Wondje Murielle. Tell us about yourself, what is unique about you?

I am 21 years old of age. I was born and raised in Cameroon. I am self-determined, and I always do my best in everything. I am right now representing Miss Africaribe 2017 Cameroon in the Miss Africaribe pageant 2017 and it is on November 25th, and I am excited.

Wondje Murielle, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Model?

My passion in life is to help people to get there where they are supposed to. I love helping people; I love to be an inspiration to many. I'm in school pursuing my career which is to become an international electrical engineer so I can work in Africa and hopefully give back to the community.

Who is your inspiration in life Wondje Murielle? How do you keep inspired?

My dad and my mother are my inspiration in life. They inspire me to be the best every day and to be the best version of myself. I keep inspired by learning, helping, encouraging others.

We all make mistakes Wondje Murielle; we wish we could take back. Please tell us about time being a Model; you want to you’d handled a situation differently with a colleague.
I just recently started modelling, and I have said something to a girl while we were doing a workshop because she kept cutting people off because she wanted to be notified. I told her to go back to the end of the line and not to stay in front of the line. It was normal when I said it, but she was so embarrassed, and everyone started laughing at her, and I felt bad and went apologized at the end of he workshop.

Wondje Murielle , when you’re working with a large number of clients, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. As a Model, how do you go about prioritizing your clients’ needs?

I am just trying to be the best, and I can be and provide the best to my clients and make them understand that I cannot please everyone at the same time. But I will always try my best and try to help everyone at a certain time not all at the same time.

Please tell us, Wondje Murielle, about a time you had to be very strategic to meet all your top priorities as a Model?

I'm very athletic, and I was playing about to play basketball for college, but modelling came at the same time, and I signed a two-year contract with an agency. So I had to make a choice that will help me for a long run, so I dropped basketball to start modelling for the young agency. It sucked a little because I did not do anything major yet and in basketball, I could have been playing now. But everything in life happens for a reason, and you got to be patient.

Wondje Murielle, please give us an example of a time when you were able to successfully persuade someone to see things your way at work.
My coworker at work is very impulsive, she cannot hold her emotions, and that attitude almost got her fired. But I helped to control her emotions by exercising or just breathing instead of talking back. Whenever she was getting mad, I was standing by so she will not explode in front of the boss. Since then, she listens to me, and she has not got in trouble since.

Wondje Murielle, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Model. There might be many, but there is always this proudest moment that you just want to share with everyone. What is it and why?
My proudest moment was when I got called from my agency to be an extra in the movie. The fact that I am featuring in that movie even if it is only one minute means a lot from me. I have the opportunity to watch myself on TV and my friends and family too.

Wondje Murielle, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?
This happened last night because I was helping some of my opponents with their speech and advise them on how to pose for the shoot or look more confident. It was exciting cheering them up and difficult because I was giving them some of the ideas I wanted to use and I could not anymore, and I had to improvise for myself.

What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Model?

Never give up on your dreams. Work it, Dream it and Own it.

Are you looking for collaboration with fashion talents, brands and creatives? If yes, please state below what type of collaboration you are looking for?
Yes. I would love to be in fashion shows, runway. Hopefully wear designers clothing and more. Especially for my pageant show that is coming up. If I have the chance to wear designers dresses or even hair will mean a lot to me.
