Something that's extremely unique about me is my story. I am a single mom who worked her way through college while participating in a sport (track & field) at the same time. I set my goals and do everything possible to achieve them. I like to look at myself asa success-oriented Achiever while at the same time being an intense Investigator ( I do nothing without considering all options/outcomes). I am aa powerful Challenger that's also a reassuring Peacemaker. I believe that there is a way to do and handle every situation. I have a strong belief in the sense of ethics.
Veronica, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Model?
My aspirations in life are to do the things that make me extremely happy. I became a model because I wanted to show people that despite the fact of having a child you can still achieve all of your dreams.
Who is your inspiration in life Veronica? How do you keep inspired?
My biggest inspiration in life is my son. He keeps me going. Sometimes I feel like when he looks at his mommy on stage, participating in a show, or doing a photo shoot the loom in his eyes is as if he's watching a star. He makes me feel so good.
We all make mistakes Veronica; we wish we could take back. Please tell us about time being a Model; you wish you’d handled a situation differently with a colleague.
I haven't had any bad experiences thus far. I feel like every opportunity is a chance for me to grow and learn something new and I make sure I treat it as such.
Veronica, when you’re working with a large number of clients, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. As a Model, how do you go about prioritising your clients’ needs?
Beforehand I make sure I ask what each client is going that way I can research to ensure my poses are on point or that I am super fierce on that runway. When you want something, you'll practice with them as well as on your own time to ensure that you get good quality. I even attend other shows and watch while taking mental notes as to what I can do or how I can look during a show.
Please tell us, Veronica, about a time you had to be very strategic to meet all your top priorities as a Model?
As I said before, I feel like every opportunity is a chance to be strategic to meet the client's needs. You have to communicate and find out what the client is going for.
Veronica, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully.
It's always tricky to persuade someone to see things your way. You have to convince them to be open enough to try things a different way, and if they don't like it, you can always switch back. This is a reason why I find it great to practice beforehand.
Veronica, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Model. There might be many, but there is always this proudest moment that you want to share with everyone. What is it and why?
My proudest moment is when I did my first out of state runway show. The show took place in Dallas Texas. I believe it was one of my best shows and I was super excited.
Veronica, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?
My most recent shoot I was able to choose my poses. We ended up with 50 great photographs that I was able to add to my portfolio.
What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Model?
Study, Study, study & you also have to be willing to invest in yourself. Study poses, the latest looks, practice your walk and facial expressions. You'll do amazing!!
Are you looking for collaboration with fashion talents, brands and creatives? If yes, please state what type of collaboration you are looking for?
Yes! Of course... I wouldn't mind collaborating with Adidas or Ivy park even local designers. It's exciting working with different designers.
