Creative Director

I moved to Canada just four years ago. I almost didn't know English when I moved here. So, I've learned two new languages - English and French, and I speak 4 languages now: English, French, Russian and Ukrainian. I've also completed my college diploma in Toronto and became a marketing manager here.

Valerie, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Creative Director?

Travelling is my real passion. I've been more than at nine countries already, and I want to visit every country in this world.

Who is your inspiration in life Valerie? How do you keep inspired?

Travelling is for sure one of my favourite ways to inspire myself but also my parents who are always supporting me in my new projects and ideas

We all make mistakes Valerie; we wish we could take back. Please tell us about time being a Creative Director; you wish you’d handled a situation differently with a colleague.

Sometimes I can be a little bit strict, and that's where I would like to change. I also can be a little bit more emotional then needed at work.

Valerie, when you’re working with a large number of clients, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. As a Creative Director, how do you go about prioritising your clients’ needs?

Well, you have to always work together with a client. You need to explain to them how to implement their ideas in the best way. I always try to make my clients happy and make sure they will be satisfied with our service

Please tell us, Valerie, about a time you had to be very strategic in order to meet all your top priorities as a Creative Director?

I always have to be very strategic to meet to priorities. We worked with a large amount of services and gave to be very focused on details.

Valerie, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully.

I think this time was when I started to show great performance at work as a designer and I got promoted to a manager after. It means people decided to follow my path and they realised that I could lead a whole team.

Valerie, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Creative Director. There might be many, but there is always this proudest moment that you want to share with everyone. What is it and why?

When I with my team signed more than 60 successful contracts with our clients in only three months

Valerie, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?

I have to create different projects every day. So sometimes it's very hard to create something new in days when your inspiration is low, but you still have to do it because it's your job

What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Creative Director?

Be creative, expand your imagination. Make sure you follow your goals and never give up

Are you looking for collaboration with fashion talents, brands and creatives? If yes, please state below what type of collaboration you are looking for?

I always looking for creative people to be a part of my team . Especially: Brand Ambassadors, videographers and graphic designers
