I came to Canada in 2012 in order to establish a better lifestyle for me. Although, it was very tough to adjust in a whole new country in the beginning, I started becoming more and more comfortable in expressing myself in this beautiful country. I made new friends, learnt to be a bigger part of the community and just tried to stay positive throughout my journey.
I soon became fascinated by the law enforcement opportunities available in Ontario. The pay is amazing and people really respect you. So, I decided to become a Police Officer. I completed my Police Foundations course from Toronto and now I'm currently trying to clear my exams so I can apply to become a cop. It's thought but I believe I can do it.
In my past time, me and my friend set up our own photography set. We like to explore new areas and I often pose for him. It's a passion I truly care for and I love seeing beautiful locations come to life in my pictures. I would love to get more involved in the world of modelling and collaborate with different brands and agencies. It would be a dream come true!

Our readers would love to get to know you more Vaibhav. Tell us about yourself, what is unique about you?

I am really passionate about music and photography. To me, nature is very unique and I truly believe I can capture that in my photos. I'm not much of a model haha. I just like to pose nicely once in a while. But having said that, I would truly love to collaborate with different brands and agencies. Who doesn't want to be famous?
In my spare time i try to stay fit as much as possible and I often go out for long drives. It truly calms me down and helos me think. My long-term goal is to become a police Officer but I would love to carry my passion along with me and keep doing what I do and stay positive.

Vaibhav, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Model?

I started as a Model in India. I did some photo shoots for the Nokia Smartphone campaign. However, it took a backseat when I had to come to Canada. I met my best friend here who often did my photo shoots and we often collaborated together as well. My biggest motivation would be my parents. I would want nothing more but to see them proud and happy at the end of everyday. My passion is to be really famous no matter what I do and I would give in my very best to achieve that

Who is your inspiration in life Vaibhav? How do you keep inspired?

My biggest inspiration would be Dwayne The Rock Johnson. I follow his social media account posts a lot. He sleeps for only 4 hours a day and no matter the time of night, he will always get up in the morning and find the time to work out. That's the kind of dedication a man should have. To be able to give your 200% even at the end of day requires a special kind of will power. I want to be like that.

We all make mistakes Vaibhav, we wish we could take back. Please tell us about a time being a Model , you wish you’d handled a situation differently with a colleague.
During one of the photoshoots in India, I had posed quite casually for a photographer. I think I was too young at that time and I didn't pose very well. The end result were some pretty bad shots and I knew at that moment I had ruined a really good opportunity. I guess now I'm more experienced but wasting even a single opportunity doesn't feel good.

Vaibhav ,when you’re working with a large number of clients, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. As a Model, how do you go about prioritizing your clients’ needs?

I haven't really worked with huge clientele base. Ever since I've come to Canada, I've only collaborated with one photographer and he usually clicks most of my photos.
Having said that, i do believe in growing and expanding my base so I would certainly love to work with more clients

Please tell us Vaibhav, about a time you had to be very strategic in order to meet all your top priorities as a Model?

Like I said before, I really haven't had a huge clientele base. So that issue never came up. In all my photo shoots, I've been pretty calm and composed and I get ample time to get clicked nicely haha!

Vaibhav, please give us an example of a time when you were able to successfully persuade someone to see things your way at work.
I wouldn't say I have the perfect face or the perfect features. I'm not even that good looking. I just try to look good and sometimes it shows on camera (lol). This one time I had to convince my photographer Ramit to change the light settings on set so it was according to my specifications. He agreed immediately. He's an amazing human being.

Vaibhav please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Model. There might be many, but there is always this proudest moment that you just want to share to everyone. What is it and why?
There is no specific incident that stands out. I guess when people compliment me after seeing my photos is enough to make me feel proud. My parents are open-minded but conservative. I would like to make them proud by being really famous. I guess that would be my proudest moment.

Vaibhav, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?
I sometimes have a hard time smiling nicely for the camera or sometimes I become too stiff. To deal with that i just put some music on and it automatically loosens me up.

What advice would you give to the people who wants to be successful as a Model?

Anybody can be successful if you really put your mind to it. I don't consider myself successful and I don't think I ever will. Because once you feel successful, the hunger to achieve more stops. That's my thinking.

Are you looking for collaboration with fashion talents, brands and creatives? If yes, please state below what type of collaboration you are looking for?
DEFINITELY YES.i would love to collaborate with different brands and creatives. I'm open to any sort of collaboration. No work is big or small for me. I would love to do endorsements for products, clothes, fashion brands, etc. Any kind of work is welcome.

Now for the best part Vaibhav! Please upload 5-10 photos so we can get to see your work.
