I love the outdoors and enjoy bringing people to nature. I'm very passionate about what I do in all things.
Tyeshia, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Photographer?
I would love to work for National Geographic one day or see my pictures on walls of. My passion started in high school, but I wasn't able to be a part of the yearbook. I took my first photography class in college and had always loved candid, natural shots. After raising my son died it was time to follow a dream as a Photography why is a business.
Who is your inspiration in life Tyeshia? How do you keep inspired?
It's not hard to stay inspired bc there are so many things to try and to do. My goal is to be the best photographer I can be
We all make mistakes Tyeshia; we wish we could take back. Please tell us about time being a Photographer; you wish you’d handled a situation differently with a colleague.
I was given the opportunity of a lifetime to photograph an event for a reputable business. I didn't check my email, so I didn't get the answer to my question on what focus they were looking for. This resulted in me not capturing all they wanted, so I wasn't published.
Tyeshia, when you’re working with a large number of clients, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. As a Photographer, how do you go about prioritising your clients’ needs?
I set realistic expectations and goals. I have everything on my calendar, and I do set expectations I cannot deliver
Please tell us Tyeshia, about a time you had to be very strategic in order to meet all your top priorities as a Photographer?
Sometimes it seems that everyone feels they should be the priority and at times I feel like I can make everyone a priority but I had to go back to the basic schedule and follow the plan to avoid confusion and frustration.
Tyeshia, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully.
Fortunately for me, I'm surrounded by people that respect my tenure and opinions. It's not difficult for people to adopt my ideas or plan. Most people know I don't make suggestions unless they are doable and I'm dedicated to the cause.
Tyeshia, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Photographer. There might be many, but there is always this proudest moment that you want to share with everyone. What is it and why?
Having other photographers with more experience to compliment me on my work is always amazing for me. I feel inferior most times to others who have been at this for awhile, and I second guess myself a lot.
Tyeshia, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?
Creativity is easy. Putting that on paper to work is another thing. The excitement of possibly creating something phenomenal is inspiring but collaborating with others to reach a result is spectacular.
What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Photographer?
Keep shooting don't give up.
Are you looking for collaboration with fashion talents, brands and creatives? If yes, please state what type of collaboration you are looking for?
I am looking for all possibilities of collaboration. I love trying and learning new things.
