I'm a mixed African-American Australian growing up in Australia. Doing so was of hard especially being such an unusual mix it was difficult to fit in, but I have soon learnt that that isn't something I want to do anymore. I've come to accept that I'm different and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Temeley, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Model?

I love to sing, dance, basketball and netball but overall modelling is my main career goal in life. I started when I was 11 with an agency but decided to see what it would be like to freelance for a while

Who is your inspiration in life Temeley? How do you keep inspired?

My biggest inspiration would have to be my mother. Without her, I wouldn't have been able even to start modelling. She paid for casting, portfolios and my grooming and deportment classes and without her, I wouldn't be where I am at the moment within the modelling industry. I think one of the main things that keep me inspired is the fact that there aren't a lot of curly haired models in the industry, and I would like to be able to join and hopefully encourage the next generation of beautiful curly haired children to feel like they can do anything and to be proud of what they have and to accept the uniqueness that is their hair.

We all make mistakes Temeley; we wish we could take back. Please tell us about time being a Model; you wish you’d handled a situation differently with a colleague.

I'm not a confrontational person so I can honestly say I've never had issues with people I work with, I'm very easy going about that sort of stuff.

Temeley, when you’re working with a large number of clients, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. As a Model, how do you go about prioritising your clients’ needs?

I make sure that the client has every shoot they need before moving on, communication is definitely a big part of making sure everything is to their liking. I also try to be as accommodating as possible so they can achieve their vision.

Please tell us Temeley, about a time you had to be very strategic in order to meet all your top priorities as a Model?

During a fashion show, I need to do a quick change so to be able to ensure that I make it on to the c catwalk at the appropriate time that included having clothes laid out in order of when they appeared

Temeley, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully.

I try not to push the photographer too much considering it's their vision and idea, but I definitely give some input and feedback about poses so they can at least have a few ideas from an outside party.

Temeley, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Model. There might be many, but there is always this proudest moment that you want to share with everyone. What is it and why?

My first runway show, because it was a completely new experience for me, but I instantly fell in love with it, and it has since become one of my favorite modelling styles.

Temeley, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?

For the first time, I did an amazing conceptual photo shoot with an amazing photographer from Instagram; it was an exciting process because I've never done any artistic photography before and the final product was amazing.

What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Model?

My advice would be to follow your dream no matter what anyone says, people will doubt, and you need to be able to push through the doubt and negativity and work hard and definitely don't be afraid of anything.
