Our readers would love to get to know you more Teia. Tell us about yourself, what is unique about you?
I am very self-determined and always striving to do better. I am a dancer, facing up to 15 hours per week outside of school.
Teia, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Photographer?
I started out when I took it as an exam subject at school. Both my mum and grandma are interested in the field of photography and so it has helped encourage me and now it is what I want to do with life.
Who is your inspiration in life Teia? How do you keep inspired?
I am inspired by both photographers like Lindsay Adler and Cecil Beaton as well as my environment and surroundings. I keep inspired by finding new inspiration, ideas, and techniques for which I could experiment with.
We all make mistakes Teia, we wish we could take back. Please tell us about a time being a Photographer, you wish you’d handled a situation differently with a colleague.
I haven't had one of these situations
Teia, when you’re working with a large number of clients, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. As a Photographer, how do you go about prioritizing your clients’ needs?
Talk to them, get details and stay organized; make a plan of action.
Please tell us Teia, about a time you had to be very strategic in order to meet all your top priorities as a Photographer?
When I was first starting out, I had to study all different areas of photography to find the one I relate to the most.
Teia, please give us an example of a time when you were able to successfully persuade someone to see things your way at work.
I have persuaded a client to let me put different materials into her hair... it may have been difficult to take out but the photos were stunning.
Teia please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Photographer. There might be many, but there is always this proudest moment that you just want to share with everyone. What is it and why?
Some of my work was shown to others and I had many people telling me how I've got an "eye" for photography. This helped encourage me to do more and to make my work even better.
Teia, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?
In my first fashion photo shoot, I decided to use flour to add a different texture to my photos... it creates layers which enhances the photo.
What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Photographer?
Find what works for you. Find your own technique.
Are you looking for collaboration with fashion talents, brands, and creatives? If yes, please state what type of collaboration you are looking for?
Yes! Anyone looking for a fashion shoot!
Now for the best part Teia! Please upload 5-10 photos so we can get to see your work.
