I present the world a spunky, intelligent, and down to earth young woman. My brand can be described as authentic and artistic. Sometimes it is difficult to express how you are feeling into words and dance fulfils those emotions. I express myself through movement which sets me apart from society. Movement is part of my identity.

Tayler, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as Others?

Dance and serving others are passions that fulfil my life. Dance came into my life at the age of 4. I started at my preschool in jazz and ballet. Also, I took hula lessons through a local studio. Since then, I have aspirations of becoming a professional dancer and choreographer. I would love to tour with a major artist such as Rhianna, Justin Bieber, Beyonc̩ (duh), and Justin Timberlake to name a few.
I attended a Co-Divisional Catholic Jesuit High School (Girls and Boys are in separate buildings but share one campus) in Colorado that has instilled in me the importance of serving others. My favourite theology teacher (s/o Mr Smith) taught us that everyone in the world was to love and be loved. Serving others, especially the marginalised, emulates this saying. What I love about service is that you not only gain a new perspective but also you learn a lot about yourself through those you serve. Through my experiences with serving others, I aspire to share my passion for dance with those who have no access to it.

Who is your inspiration in life Tayler? How do you stay inspired as a Others?

My parents are my inspiration. Even before I was born, they worked so hard to build a life from scratch. When my brother and I were born, they made lots of sacrifices to provide us with a comfortable life to grow up in. I would not have had the opportunities and experiences in my life without their determination.
By letting go of any ego and opening my eyes to the talent, brilliance, and creativity is how I stay inspired as an Others.

We all make mistakes Tayler; we wish we could take back. What was the mistake you made in the past that you wish you can take back?

There are no mistakes that I would take back. I believe that everything happens for a reason. So, if I did not make those mistakes in the past, then I would have not learned from them and be as wise as I am today.

Tayler, How do you describe yourself in terms of working with clients?

I am great at working with others. I am able to listen to other people's ideas, and I am a great communicator.

Please tell us, Tayler, how do you prioritise work, social life, friends, and family?

1. Family and Friends
2. Work
3. Social Life

Tayler, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully.

By acknowledging their idea and then combining their idea with mine helped me let some see my way.

Tayler, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Others.

Having to the opportunity to choreograph and perform at a music festival in Hawaii (Lost In Paradise Music Festival 2018). Kid Ink, DJ Snake, Marc E. Bassy, Ludacris, Juicy J, and many others performed. This experience was made possible by my friend and performer at the festival, Kealani. She is a local singer in Hawaii in hopes of becoming a major artist.

Tayler, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?

I am always creative in my work. However, it can be difficult. At the music festival, the stage was 8 ft deep, but we could only use 4 ft of it because of stage lights and speakers. That was an obstacle because that hinders your creative ideas. Overall, that experience was exciting because it was something new as well as a dream of mine.

What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Others?

My favorite quote that I live by is "Never bend your head. Always hold it high. Look the world straight in the face." For someone to be successful, you have to know that you are capable of anything you set your mind to. I know it can be very scary putting yourself out there, but confidence is key in being successful. If you believe in yourself, others will too!
