ABOUT

I think what is unique about me is my calm personality. I get along with everyone. I enjoy travelling and making art. I love new experiences and learning. I believe that we can never learn enough. I also love spending time with my pets, family, and friends.

Tarrah, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Model?

I started as a model years ago. I was doing hair at a wedding convention, and one of the models asked if I could do her hair at an upcoming shoot she had. The day of, I did her hair and another model's hair. She invited me to the shoot, and I've been modelling ever since. I hope to continue modelling; it's such an expressive form of art. I wish to continue learning and growing as a model. And I aspire to create beautiful art.

Who is your inspiration in life Tarrah? How do you keep inspired?

My inspiring in life comes from all around. From different people, cultures, music, fashion, nature. Inspiration is everywhere, all we have to do is be receptive to it.

We all make mistakes Tarrah; we wish we could take back. Please tell us about time being a Model; you wish you’d handled a situation differently with a colleague.

The worst thing that had ever happened to me as a model was when a photographer tried to kiss me. Luckily, it happened before the shoot during a consultation. I cancelled the shoot. I've had modelling friends tell me similar situations have happened to them, and some had worse happen to them. It's a shame that young aspiring models have to deal with situations like this.

Tarrah, when you’re working with a large number of clients, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. As a Model, how do you go about prioritising your clients’ needs?

To know what your client wants, communication is key. To stay in contact and discuss through email, messaging or talking, to figure out what needs to be done and what they are looking to accomplish. Keeping an eye on your schedule and not taking on more then you can handle also helps.

Please tell us, Tarrah, about a time you had to be very strategic in order to meet all your top priorities as a Model?

I don't know if I have a specific time. I usually bring everything I need and then some to a shoot. I think about what will and what might happen. As cosmologists and manager of a salon, and model, I try always to be prepared.

Tarrah, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully.

If you talk and discuss things. You can always show people how something may work a little better in a different way.

Tarrah, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Model. There might be many, but there is always this proudest moment that you want to share with everyone. What is it and why?

My proudest moment adds a model is walking every year in Runway for a Cure. It's a runway event and business auction that sends the precedes to cancer research.

Tarrah, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?

I usually try to be creative in everything that I do. Most recently was an outdoor shoot. We wanted to look ethereal. I was put in a mermaid tail. Having to model without the use of my legs was a challenge. But the pictures came out stunningly.

What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Model?

My would be to be yourself and listen to your gut. Never give up on your dreams.

Are you looking for collaboration with fashion talents, brands and creatives? If yes, please state below what type of collaboration you are looking for?

I would be interested in doing collaborations with other models for fashion, or creative pieces that may have themes to them.
