I am a versatile individual who loves to be in front of the camera. I am a beginner model so my rate per hour is $15/hour.

I am an 18-year-old from Chicago, Illinois. I am new to the field of modelling and believes that I have what it takes to get to the next level.

Would you like to complete our full Editorial interview or skip straight to uploading your photos? (12 more interview questions).

Our readers would love to get to know you more Sonja. Tell us about yourself, what is unique about you?

The unique thing about me is my culture. I am American, but I grew up in a Jamaican household. Often times, you will find me blending the two different cultures which can be expressed through the pictures I take.

Sonja, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Model?

My aspiration in life is literally to be someone's Barbie doll. I love the idea of dressing up and taking pictures all while working with a team of people who wants to change the world through fashion. I want to travel around the world with a team of people who wants to change the world through fashion.

Who is your inspiration in life Sonja? How do you keep inspired?

My inspiration in life is Naomi Campbell and Jourdan Dunn. I keep inspired by pushing myself beyond my limits. I live by the motto: "If you are comfortable then you are not growing!"

We all make mistakes Sonja, we wish we could take back. Please tell us about a time being a Model, you wish you’d handled a situation differently with a colleague.
Unfortunately, I am new to the modelling world, so I don't have any situations to discuss.

Sonja, when you’re working with a large number of clients, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. As a Model, how do you go about prioritizing your clients’ needs?

I prioritize my client's needs by choosing to work with clients that can help me to elevate my career. Every client is an opportunity to elevate, however, I prioritize by choosing clients that believe in me as much as I believe in myself.

Please tell us, Sonja, about a time you had to be very strategic in order to meet all your top priorities as a Model?

Unfortunately, I am new to the modelling industry, so I have no time to discuss.

Sonja, please give us an example of a time when you were able to successfully persuade someone to see things your way at work.
I first took a photo the way that the client instructed me to. Afterwards, I gave suggestions on what I think would also be a great photo.

Sonja, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Model. There might be many, but there is always this proudest moment that you just want to share with everyone. What is it and why?
My proudest moment is every day when I wake up and realize that I have the chance to change the world through a simple photo. All it takes is one picture!

Sonja, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?
I am creative all the time. The most difficult aspect of being creative is not repeating something you've done before. It's finding something new and innovative every time.

What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Model?

I would tell them to be confident. Confidence takes you a long way. I would also tell them my motto: "If you are comfortable, then you are not growing!"

Are you looking for collaboration with fashion talents, brands and creatives? If yes, please state what type of collaboration you are looking for?
I am looking to be a brand ambassador for several clothing lines, and also to collaborate with other models.

Now for the best part Sonja! Please upload 5-10 photos so we can get to see your work.
