I offer a few styles of photography, such as product, brand, portrait, and my favorite - fashion. If you want to get the best out of me, invite me to join the project where I can brainstorm with other creatives, that is not scared to go beyond boundaries and are eager to influence the industry with their positive, open-minded, future-forward creations and ideas.

Simona, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as Photographer?

When I was 19, I spread my wings from a small town in Lithuania and landed in a colorful and creative London. Not wanting to work 9-5 like almost everyone else I knew, I started searching for ways and possibilities to have as much time as possible and pursue my childhood passion - photography. Starting with product photography for a start-up company, I mastered photoshop and then started taking photos of my friends, because people are what inspired me to fall in love with photography all those years ago. I burn with the desire to showcase the unique beauty that every single person has an abundance of it. There are no exceptions to this.

Who is your inspiration in life Simona? How do you stay inspired as a Photographer?

People are my inspiration. Their unique "flaws" as the society would call it, is something so beautiful and intricate in my thirsty for individuality eyes. In a world where humans are obsessed with a certain type of noses, one type of hips and only one type of standard beauty, I want people to start falling in love with what they see in the mirror, as I fall in love with them when they stand in front of my camera. I burn with a desire to help them see that there are no "mistakes" as such anywhere in nature or Universe itself. If fashion and beauty standards are forever changing, then it is solid proof that there is no built-in beauty as we were first led to believe.

We all make mistakes Simona; we wish we could take back. What was the mistake you made in the past that you wish you can take back?

There are no mistakes in life. All the experiences brought me precisely where I want to be. I learned, I cried, and I laughed. I would not change any of those moments for the world!

Simona, How do you describe yourself in terms of working with clients?

I fall in love with my models. As a mother, I see their beauty no matter what picture they hold of themselves in their minds. And I will do everything that is in my power, to transfer it to my final images. I adore, and it is always welcome to lighten up the atmosphere and humor in life in general! One thing about me is that I never judge or get offended, so I always urge my clients to be as open about their expectations and vision as possible.

Please tell us, Simona, how do you prioritize work, social life, friends, and family?

My work is my passion, and my passion is my life. One could not be separated from another. Everyone who gets to be part of my life will only benefit from me following my heart. "Teach by your example" - they say, and boy, they said it right.

Simona, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully.

I do not persuade people. The way I see and look at things is unique to me, so it is unique to other people as well. The blending of ideas and inspirations of a few different individual minds - that is what I call co-creation at its best! This is when the magic happens ;)

Simona, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Photographer.

Every new project that I participate in is my proudest and favorite achievement of all. Getting published in magazines is just the cherry on the icing, but the quiet times, when the idea and inspiration strikes me like a lightening, and then gathering the team and researching the project is when I am at my best, and this is what makes my juices flow and never want to stop what I do.

Simona, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?

I get these opportunities more often than not. I adore not being able to plan the shoot from A to Z. I love arriving at the location and finding out that there are some things that we did not foresee. It means the final images will be created spontaneously at the moment and unique, not as planned or expected, which is always welcome in the world of photography!

What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Photographer?

Follow your bliss and never be scared to be yourself as fully as possible. Only by being truly who you are, you can bring a unique perspective to the world. Do not squeeze yourself in the "what's on trend" frame, but experiment and search for your signature and BE the next trend.
