ABOUT

I am an observer of different things, which differs one from another, one from the other, one from the other. And I use everything when thinking about my scene. My light is my differential and the mystery that surrounds people.

I try to see what people are not seeing and then I decide if I show them I insinuate in an image.

What I offer is a work between a dream and a reality.

Silvia, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as Photographer?

I Started shooting myself in 2012, many light tests, can and scenery. I saw myself as a role model. That's how I learned.

My inspiration has always been the great painters, Rembrandt, Vermeer and Caravaggio because the light in their painting is what fascinated me.

I try to take the memory I have of the paintings I have observed for my photograph, in a mixture of adoration and imitation.

My job is simple, but engaging with the people I drive is very meaningful to get to the point I want.

We all make mistakes Silvia; we wish we could take back. What was the mistake you made in the past that you wish you can take back?

Do not be in a hurry when taking a picture and do not let others tell you how you have to do this or that pose. And master production, stay focused on the project. I already made a mistake by letting people take the lead, and the work was diverted. And not have a fear of doing again what did not work in the first photo.

Silvia, How do you describe yourself in terms of working with clients?

I pay attention to the purpose of the trial or design and notice if something can be modified to improve the result. Changing ideas with the client is fundamental to a good job.

Please tell us, Silvia, how do you prioritise work, social life, friends, and family?

All these fields of my life are important, but the creation and photo gallery are what sustain me emotionally and what keeps my balance.

Silvia, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully.

Silvia, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Photographer.

When my photographs went to the contest finalists of the photo.fr magazine in the year 2015 and 2016, I was proud.

Silvia, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?

What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Photographer?

Tem que ser humilde, aceitar as crÌ_ticas, criar uma identidade e perseverar.
