I'm biracial mixed with African American and Irish background. My freckles are one of the unique things about me. I have a son with a woman from a previous relationship. I do identify as a lesbian. I live in Las Vegas. I'm known to be pretty outgoing blunt and fun.
Shae, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Model?
I started out helping out friends with their brands, and I realised that modelling is a great platform for a voice people don't normally get to hear. A picture can speak a thousand words, and I love the beauty of that.
Who is your inspiration in life Shae? How do you keep inspired?
I have a son on the way soon which drives me like no other but other than him I strive to be better than I was yesterday. I want to be someone woman can look up to and see that different is beautiful.
We all make mistakes Shae; we wish we could take back. Please tell us about time being a Model; you wish you’d handled a situation differently with a colleague.
Mistakes do happen quite often, and I pride myself on not losing my cool when it comes to professional things. But I was scammed by a photographer recently, and he kept my pictures from me after hours and hours of work because I didn't want to do what he thought I should go as far as nudity. I ended up blocking and refusing to work with him, and I don't wish I handled it. Differently, I wish I had seen it coming and behaves appropriately.
Shae, when you’re working with a large number of clients, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. As a Model, how do you go about prioritising your clients’ needs?
I try to please everyone in the room even if it's just one photo a person I do my best to make it a priority to make sure everyone gets what they need from me I'm there for them so I feel like if I can say I will
Please tell us Shae, about a time you had to be very strategic to meet all your top priorities as a Model?
When I had to shoot with more than one photographer in a day, I had to place my time and locations equally throughout the day to make sure I got to each shoot on time made sure my face was clean, and I got there in enough time for makeup or outfit change etc.
Shae, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully.
I work at a hospital and the medical field changes on a daily basis, so I try to apply that mentality to my modelling career. I had a shoot with a photographer that couldn't express what he wanted very well, so we went pose after pose after pose until we got it right and he was ready to change the entire idea, but we kept going and got it done.
Shae, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Model. There might be many, but there is always this proudest moment that you want to share with everyone. What is it and why?
My proudest moment was being published for the first time in a magazine.
Shae, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?
When I did body paint for the first time it was so exciting and creative the things that could be done, and they let me put in my input, but it was a little difficult because I couldn't do everything that I'd like to do but it was about them, and it turned out great.
What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Model?
To be open to learning and direction it's all a learning process, and the more you learn, the better you'll be
Are you looking for collaboration with fashion talents, brands and creatives? If yes, please state what type of collaboration you are looking for?
I'd love to do things with fashion week or magazines like playboy high times cosmopolitan maxim etc. I would love to collaborate with all the Big names as well as the small ones, so it's me people see everywhere.
