I want to offer my fashion inspiration. It is nothing too crazy it's something you can wear on the streets. Now on Instagram, we have so many different styles and people to get inspired from, but I feel like everybody is wearing these crazy things that you can not buy everywhere. I offer a simple but yet exciting style with an interesting style of photography.
Saskia, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as Influencer?
I started because yes there are people with acne and curvy models and all kinds of different people out there as an influencer. But I don't see a lot of women that are doing editorial fashion photos that aren't crazy beautiful I am as ordinary on the outside as they come. I got crazy acne super thin hair a bit of a curvy body. But I am out there shooting these pictures with people looking at me because I also want to inspire people. Inspire does who are ordinary to stand out in the crowd because I am sure your character is far from ordinary and this I show through makeup and style, and I am promoting others to do as well.
Who is your inspiration in life Saskia? How do you stay inspired as an Influencer?
Magazines and of course Pinterest we can't live without that. A lot of another influencer I look at and get inspired by. Also just from walking to my job I watch people all the time I love it. If I am in a restaurant, I want to sit by the window watch how people dress.
We all make mistakes Saskia; we wish we could take back. What was the mistake you made in the past that you wish you can take back?
Feel like I should stay in the shadows because my story is not crazy or inspiring enough my style is not exciting enough. I was just so ordinary how could I inspire? Now I am just trying if it works that is a second question but try!
Saskia, How do you describe yourself in terms of working with clients?
Professional, inspiring, helpful and I love working with people trying out new thing and hearing their ideas.
Please tell us Saskia, how do you prioritise work, social life, friends, and family?
It is hard to let me tell you to work a 40h normal job to go out then put on makeup and pick new outfits to shoot within the weekends it's hard. You need to ask yourself what makes me happy if that is to take some more time for your Photography for Instagram you do that, and then you meet your friends. It all depends but the best advice is to listen to what you want to do at that moment.
Saskia, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully.
I work very often with a photographer to take pictures of my Instagram. He is very editorial and wants to shoot a certain look. I told him I wanted more commercial looks. So I started taking pictures of him showing him what I was thinking and then he understood more what I wanted so we made an editorial and commercial photo shoot which was tons of fun. So I would try to show them my way and find a middle ground. Try to make them understand my vision and work out what we like together.
Saskia, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as an Influencer.
Right now I am far from being a real influencer but my most priced moment was a girl that send me a message saying she loved the fact that I as in a person with acne had the guts to do close up editorial photo shoot looks. That's when for me I decided I had to keep going and try to make this channel work.
Saskia, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?
I am always creative with Instagram and in my day to day job it is who I am. The difficulty is sometimes getting the idea or picture you have in your head to get that out there. Sometimes I might put an outfit together and take pictures of it, but it just doesn't seem to turn out as I had thought.
What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as an Influencer?
Just keep going don't care about likes or Instagram flow. Figure out who you want to be and then slowly get better. One step at the time as they say.
