I have a trust in myself that anything is possible in life.
Sandra, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Model?
I started modelling when I was 16 years old, and have continued up to my age of 61. I believe beauty is a lifetime of discovery, and my aspiration in life is to inspire other toward happy, healthy living.
Who is your inspiration in life Sandra? How do you keep inspired?
Inspiration is all around me! The people who inspire me the most, are the dreamers who bring their vision into reality.
We all make mistakes Sandra; we wish we could take back. Please tell us about time being a Model; you wish you’d handled a situation differently with a colleague.
I am a very professional model who enjoys working and creating with a team. In my younger years, I was more self-focused, and I missed out on team opportunities.
Sandra, when you’re working with a large number of clients, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. As a Model, how do you go about prioritising your clients’ needs?
I'm a goal-oriented person, so I understand goals and deadlines needs of the client.
Please tell us, Sandra, about a time you had to be very strategic to meet all your top priorities as a Model?
As an entrepreneur, I have to be very strategic at all times to take everything and everyone into consideration. This is an ongoing daily task.
Sandra, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully.
I was setting up a photo shoot an interview when the woman I was working with was very reluctant in raising the bar of excellence. I simply pointed out to her what we needed to do, how we needed to do it, and how this would benefit her.
Sandra, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Model. There might be many, but there is always this proudest moment that you want to share with everyone. What is it and why?
Every photo shoot I do over 60 years old.
Sandra, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?
Luckily as an entrepreneur, I have many opportunities to be creative, take risks with my work, and step out of my comfort zone. Putting myself out there is scary sometimes, exciting, and always worth it!
What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Model?
Know who you are, and be prepared to work hard.
Are you looking for collaboration with fashion talents, brands and creatives? If yes, please state what type of collaboration you are looking for?
I'm open to all collaborations. I love working with teams of creative and inspiring people.
