Our readers would love to get to know you more Sanchit. Tell us about yourself, what is unique about you?
I love to travel, write and click. I love the adventure of every sort and want to visit every country in the world.
Sanchit, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Photographer?
I think the photography bit has always been there in me. I have been clicking using film and digital cameras since as long as I can remember. The fact that you can just freeze memories forever has always fascinated me.
Who is your inspiration in life Sanchit? How do you keep inspired?
I read a lot. That usually keeps me inspired.
We all make mistakes Sanchit, we wish we could take back. Please tell us about a time being a Photographer, you wish you’d handled a situation differently with a colleague.
Fortunately, nothing like that has happened to me to date.
Sanchit, when you’re working with a large number of clients, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. As a Photographer, how do you go about prioritizing your clients’ needs?
I believe in hard work rather than smart work. Keeping clients happy is as much a client servicing work as photography work. With the right balance, everything is possible.
Please tell us Sanchit, about a time you had to be very strategic in order to meet all your top priorities as a Photographer?
I was working as digital marketing manager and photographer for a company in Bangalore. There I had to strategize the shoots in a minimum possible budget and in such a manner that they could be used everywhere for the brands I was handling. That was tricky but I think it worked out fine.
Sanchit, please give us an example of a time when you were able to successfully persuade someone to see things your way at work.
I was working for an event management company as their photographer. The client was demanding a lot of cliche pictures but I showed them a few examples of what can be done if things are left to be done according to me and they agreed.
Sanchit please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Photographer. There might be many, but there is always this proudest moment that you just want to share with everyone. What is it and why?
Getting a job as a photographer, to be recognized by people on the top of the food chain is my greatest accomplishment.
Sanchit, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?
I have done a few creative conceptual shoot which has given me immense satisfaction.
What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Photographer?
Be ready for a lot of hard work and unpaid months.
Are you looking for collaboration with fashion talents, brands, and creatives? If yes, please state what type of collaboration you are looking for?
Definitely. I am looking for brand sand people with whom I can connect on a creative front. I welcome any concept as long as I can have fun pulling it off.
