Samara, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Model?
God, family, modelling, sports. I started modelling when I got laid off and figured I try it out because people would say I should model.
Who is your inspiration in life Samara? How do you keep inspired?
My family. I remind myself that it is not about me but about them and those that need me to make it hear my testimony.
We all make mistakes Samara; we wish we could take back. Please tell us about time being a Model; you wish you’d handled a situation differently with a colleague.
I was on a website and thought I found a modelling gig out of town, but they ended up being a scam, it was hard to get past that because I was very excited about it.
Samara, when you’re working with a large number of clients, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. As a Model, how do you go about prioritising your clients’ needs?
Making sure I know what each client want and need before taking on the job is important to me so I can do my best to full fill it.
Please tell us, Samara, about a time you had to be very strategic to meet all your top priorities as a Model?
Before I went to New York for a fashion show, I had to strategically keep my self-focus on practising and stay on top on my workouts.
Samara, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully.
Working with others on a set we have to collaborate so, I put my input in and gave a good reason why it will work, we tried it, and it turned out great.
Samara, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Model. There might be many, but there is always this proudest moment that you just want to share with everyone. What is it and why?
I shot a commercial for Nike that was very dope. Because who wouldn't want to shoot a commercial for Nike! It was a humbling experience, and I was very grateful for it.
Samara, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?
When I shot a glamour shoot and to just being creative in my shoot was amazing! I was able to pick what all I wanted to wear makeup, etc.
What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Model?
