I work full time while working full time on the side to become the model I've always wanted to be. I am always down for new ideas and concepts, and I'm always trying to push my limits and grow as a person.
Samantha, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as Model?
I was contacted by a local photographer to help them do some glamour shots. After that, I completely fell in love. I now work with photographers in the cities area and would love to continue to grow and meet new photographers and learn new concepts.
Who is your inspiration in life, Samantha? How do you stay inspired as a Model?
My biggest inspiration in life would be my aunt. Although she is blind, she makes it a goal not to see it as a disability but a new way to look at life. I have been through so many ups and downs in life, but through it, all positivity has helped me. My aunt would tell me when I was growing up that I am beautiful in my way. As I grew up, I knew she was right even though sometimes I didn't feel beautiful. The beauty of life is realizing you're the only thing holding you back from doing and being everything you've dreamed. With this knowledge, I have broken out of my comfort zone and created gorgeous work with some very talented people. I plan to take my past struggles and accomplishments to stay grounded and humble. I aspire to be as strong and beautiful as my aunt. Inside & out. My biggest inspiration in life is to show that although things don't seem possible ~ anything is if you work your hardest.
We all make mistakes, Samantha, we wish we could take back. What was the mistake you made in the past that you wish you can take back?
My brother passed away when we were teenagers. My biggest mistake I wish I could take back is not taking enough time to spend with him when he was here.
Samantha, How do you describe yourself in terms of working with clients?
Outgoing. Adventurous. Spontaneous. Reliable. Positive. Dependable. Passionate. Devoted.
Please tell us, Samantha, how do you prioritize work, social life, friends, and family?
Friends and family are very important to be. So is getting my work done on time and as well as possible. I prioritize my life so that I can get everything that needs to be done, all while still loving myself and family and friends.
Samantha, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully.
I work with dementia patients in a locked facility, so I have had to master this technique. I have found it is best to sit in a calm environment and explain your point of view and always to make sure the other person knows you respect them and their decision.
Samantha, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Model.
My proudest professional accomplishment as a model was when I hit the 700 followers mark. It may not seem like a lot, but to me, every follower is a supporter. And in life, we all need to be supported and cherished to accomplish what we are capable of doing fully. Everyone needs positivity, and we all come from somewhere!
Samantha, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?
I often get to be creative with both my job and modeling. Creativity is a huge part of my life. With modeling, I enjoy being able to put together an outfit that I feel confident a while posing myself to feel both empowered and beautiful.
What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Model?
Try your hardest. Don't give up. Don't compare your photos to a movie star, and never sell yourself short. Confidence is key, as well as practice and knowledge.
