I have good quality modelling experience, both in a studio and out on locations shoots. I have taken part in modelling shoots in and around London and am confident, hardworking and focused. I have modelled at the London Hair Show on stage this included having my hair and makeup professionally styled and also performing a Dance to show off the styling! I have been on TV on a children's Game show and taken part in several interviews so am more than confident and capable in front of a camera.

I have a modelling portfolio and Sed card.

I actively maintain a healthy lifestyle, work out regularly and attend Pilates classes. I have a positive mental attitude to all aspects of life and have been told that I'm a pleasure to be around and to work with. I pride myself on my unique image for my age, and with my bubbly go-getter personality, i thrive on being around people and working as a team. I'm super organised, manage my time effectively and love to support, help and encourage others.

Our readers would love to get to know you more Sally-Ann. Tell us about yourself, what is unique about you?

I am a 40-year-old Mum of 3. I have been part of various modelling shoot throughout my life and have now decided to pursue this as my career. I have a unique look and attitude for my age. I'm youthful, energetic, enthusiastic about the industry and hope to bring petit mature models into the limelight of the industry.

Sally-Ann, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Model?

I am passionate about modelling and the industry as a whole. I was recommended into modelling by an agency who saw pictures of me on Instagram. I went for a shoot, had a portfolio made and i'm determined to make this happen! I'm aspiring to be a sensation!

Who is your inspiration in life Sally-Ann? How do you keep inspired?

I'm inspired by hard working people. Also, people who face hard or difficult times in their lives, be this with physical or mental health issues and continue to fight for what they want and to help others. I'm inspired by anyone who loves life, lives positively and healthily and strives to do the best by others.

We all make mistakes Sally-Ann, we wish we could take back. Please tell us about a time being a Model , you wish you’d handled a situation differently with a colleague.
When I worked with Stephen Goldsworthy, a top hairdresser, I was very reluctant to have my hair a certain colour which I didn't like. I feel that at the time I was quite young and somewhat inexperienced and should have been more flexible. This taught me a valuable lesson. There are always people out there who know better or more than you, and you should always listen and take their opinions into account. However it's always important to be honest and stick up for what you believe, you just need to go about that in the right way.

Sally-Ann ,when you’re working with a large number of clients, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. As a Model, how do you go about prioritizing your clients’ needs?

For me its very important to listen. We have 2 ears and only 1 mouth so we should listen twice as much as we speak! If you listen to what is required of you and ask any appropriate questions, the needs of the client will always be met amicably. I believe in flexibility, reliability and professionalism and endeavour to go the extra mile for what is needed for my client.

Please tell us Sally-Ann, about a time you had to be very strategic in order to meet all your top priorities as a Model?

I've had to plan my time according to schedules delivered by agents who organise the shoots and locations, this involves, not just doing the actual shoot but making sure travel arrangements are in place, accommodation requirements were in place and any security was also arranged for shoots in locations nationwide and planned through next year. I use a planner to keep myself organised and relate with all people involved to ensure a smooth working environment.

Sally-Ann, please give us an example of a time when you were able to successfully persuade someone to see things your way at work.
I consider myself very easy to work with. My strength is my confident interpersonal skills and being able to work with people of all levels. I'm able to make suggestions to work in different ways which we discuss openly, making the team feel relaxed. We try different things and see how they look and feel for them. I take critique and am able to adapt and show determination and flexibility.

Sally-Ann, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Model. There might be many, but there is always this proudest moment that you just want to share with everyone. What is it and why?
I am extremely proud to have been selected for the Top Model 2018 Finals in London in April. I have been selected for the over 25's category, and at 40 years old I felt very proud of this and humbled to work along side such an amazing team of people, both models organisers.

Sally-Ann, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?
I loved doing an outdoor shoot in London during the summer. I felt so confident, at ease and home being outdoors and modelling. I'm not easily distracted and am very focused. I believe I worked extremely well with the photographer and was able to put forward with confidence my creative ideas for poses and places to shoot, which I loved. It feels great to have an input and then seeing the result of images was fantastic!

What advice would you give to the people who wants to be successful as a Model?

You have to accept this is a hard industry. However nothing in life worth doing is ever easy! You have to have a positive mindset, accept you won't get every job and be prepared to work hard, listen and learn from others. This has to be a lifestyle, keep fit, eat healthily and inspire others to do the same. Be the best person you can be and treat others as you would wish to be treated.

Are you looking for collaboration with fashion talents, brands and creatives? If yes, please state below what type of collaboration you are looking for?
Yes! I would love to model collaboratively with fashion talents, brands and creatives. Its great to have the opportunity to work with a diverse variety of people from models to brands and creatives. I will always consider fully any offers in any of these fields.
