Our readers would love to get to know you more Ryan. Tell us about yourself, why you are passionate about what you do, and your journey so far.
By trade I'm a Graphic Designer and Illustrator in which I hold a Degree, Photography was a hobby that's now a big part of my life.I started with macro and landscape photography, and I'm slowly moving into alternative fashion and portraiture.I love photography and the stories it can tell, I like to think outside of the box and play with juxtaposition as often as possible.

What are your goals and how do you see yourself progressing in the field Ryan?
My goal is to turn my passion into a career; I absolutely love photography in every aspect, and pride myself in constantly learning and teaching myself, I don't like to focus on one style, I want to be able to shoot everything.I wish to progress to be the best at what I do, and what I can be.
How do you communicate with people Ryan? Are you patient? Are you friendly? How open are you to clients’ requirements?
I'm a really friendly guy, down to earth and approachable, I want a shoot to be relaxed and fun, where there's no stress and drama but smiles and laughter.Regarding clients requirements, I do my utmost to provide everything I can within reason.
If you had to do it over again, what would you change Ryan?
I'd learn photography a lot earlier in my life to give me more time to appreciate it and learn it.
Who is your hero Ryan, and how have they helped you get to where you are?
I look up to so many people,regarding photographers, VonWong is a firm fixture in people I aspire to be like, but another hero would be my grandad, he has an amazing sense of humour and has always been proud of what I do and where I want to be in life.
How important are creative education courses Ryan? Have you taken any, and did you find them useful?
I studied at college and then university for five years, I believe the foundations of education are extremely important, but I also believe self-drive and determination are just as vital.Some people can't afford a university degree but have the will and drive to achieve the same goals.Self-belief and passion are a big part of getting to where you want to be in life.
Do you have any tips for someone who is just starting out in the industry?
Read, watch, learn.Self-educates and find people who inspire you.A network as much as you can, there is no such thing as a bad question so ask as much as you can.
