I'm an Island girl, from the beautiful paradise Sri Lanka. I love dancing and being a fashion icon. My family has always been my strength and my weakness .. I always go for what I want in life and try my best to achieve my goals.

Ronella, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as Model?

When I was a child I wanted to achieve three things in life,

1 - To be a Flight Attendant. And I'm proud to say that I achieved it when I was 20 years old .
2 - To become one of the most influenced and professional models in the industry.
3 - And to be one of the best dancers,
Which I'm working on it right now.
My modelling career started when I was around 15 years old. I did a few photoshoots for a few of my friends for their photography profiles and continued doing it as a passion.

Who is your inspiration in life Ronella? How do you stay inspired as a Model?

My inspiration in life is Ellen DeGeneres; I want to help people and be an idol just like her.
On the modelling side, Naomi Campbell and Tyra Banks have always inspired me to follow my dreams as a model.

We all make mistakes Ronella; we wish we could take back. What was the mistake you made in the past that you wish you can take back?

I am giving up my career as a Flight Attendant for personal reasons.

Ronella, How do you describe yourself in terms of working with clients?

I'm a very outgoing person, and easy to work with if I have a full idea of what the client wants from my side.

Please tell us Ronella, how do you prioritise work, social life, friends, and family?

Work has always been my priority.
My family and friends have always supported me with my decisions, and they have always been there for me even though I spend time with them or not.
Social life can always wait.

Ronella, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully.

When I was flying for The Airline, I used to be in charge of the Duty-free onboard, and I must say I did a pretty great job convincing customers to buy items more than what they were looking for.

Ronella, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Model.

I am always proud of every project I do.

Ronella, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?

Bringing my fashion ideas for photo shoots, and seen them been published on social media was very exciting. Don't think there was anything difficult about it.

What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Model?

No one can ever pressurise you to do what you don't want to do, so go with what you think is right and not what others think.
