I am 26 years old from New Delhi India. I am a lawyer, but now I have shifted my focus completely towards modelling. As I have practised law and have handled many clients there, I think I am very good with people, and that is an important aspect of being a model that you should be comfortable in every environment. I'm an athlete and have played Hockey and represented my state at the national level. Modelling is like a passion for me, and now I have finally decided to pursue it for good. Wish me luck :)
Rohit, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Model?
I started modelling in 2009 when j was 18-19, and then since then, I have done some work. It started as a newspaper wanting to feature a model of the week, and hence they asked me to do it. It was my first experience. After that, I have done some work and now after completing my education in focussing completely on Modeling. I aspire to work globally as a model and actor and to connect with people from Thailand industry
Who is your inspiration in life Rohit? How do you keep inspired?
My inspiration is my father since he is an extremely hard working man and always puts his family first. I get inspired by reading a lot of inspirational books, I meditate and learn about all the successful people and their success stories.
We all make mistakes Rohit; we wish we could take back. Please tell us about time being a Model; you wish you’d handled a situation differently with a colleague.
It was a time when I wasn't getting the shots right as I was nervous and since then I have always tried to be more patient and calm in my attitude.
Rohit, when you’re working with a large number of clients, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. As a Model, how do you go about prioritising your clients’ needs?
I haven't worked with a large no of clients, but my top priority would be to finish the deadline and to complete the task in the given time.
Please tell us Rohit, about a time you had to be very strategic in order to meet all your top priorities as a Model?
I had always planned my shoots so when I was working aa lawyer I had to do a shoot a week later in a different city. So I planned my holidays and then started grooming myself accordingly.
Rohit, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully.
It happens at times when the photographer wants something, and you want something. There was a time when I had to get a shot right, and it wasn't coming okay because of how I was handling the prop. So I convinced my photographer to use some other prop, and it went fine.
Rohit, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Model. There might be many, but there is always this proudest moment that you want to share with everyone. What is it and why?
It was when I was featured as a model of the week in 2009 in a new newspaper. It was the proudest moment as I saw my dream of becoming a model slowly getting realised.
Rohit, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?
Since I don't smoke, there was a time we were out of ideas, so I suggested using ciggerets, and though it was hard and difficult, I still managed to pull it off.
What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Model?
To be extremely hard-working, creative and disciplined. Never lose focus and charm.
Are you looking for collaboration with fashion talents, brands and creatives? If yes, please state below what type of collaboration you are looking for?
I want to work with Fashion photographers, modelling agencies as I am looking to get hired by one internationally and also fitness photographers and fashion shows.
