Our readers would love to get to know you more Rob. Tell us about yourself, what is unique about you?

I have the vision to make modelling more about an artist interpretation instead of making the model fit the mould. Break the stereotype of models feeling like brands don't want my type of look.

Rob, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Photographer?

I wanted to capture nature and moments to transition them into fine art drawings. So I decided why not make photos more like graphic art when using models as a subject.

Who is your inspiration in life Rob? How do you keep inspired?

My inspiration comes from my connection with the outdoors and my mother. Always letting me know to get out there and enjoy the surroundings.

We all make mistakes Rob, we wish we could take back. Please tell us about a time being a Photographer, you wish you’d handled a situation differently with a colleague.
There will always be situations that can use improvements. However, it's more important to me to use any information positively or negatively to continually improve client experiences.

Rob, when you’re working with a large number of clients, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. As a Photographer, how do you go about prioritizing your clients’ needs?

Priorities is a very tough subject sometimes. How to decide who takes priority? Just using a simple first come first served mentality helps and communicate with clients to understand flexibility if necessary in turnaround times.

Please tell us, Rob, about a time you had to be very strategic in order to meet all your top priorities as a Photographer?

It seems time management is a very important foundation for any strategy. When preparing for fashion events there is a lot of moving parts and variables that have to be prioritized in order to facilitate a successful showcase.

Rob, please give us an example of a time when you were able to successfully persuade someone to see things your way at work.
Socializing with various event promoters and designers I spoke about more exposure to the military for fashion events. The promoters felt it was a great idea and expressed testing those theories in upcoming events.

Rob, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Photographer. There might be many, but there is always this proudest moment that you just want to share with everyone. What is it and why?
My proudest moment as a photographer was working with a school campus. I proposed the idea of family photos for parents and guardians. Grandparents of one of the students expressed to me that she really loved the idea of the family photos. She saw her grand children's photos and tears started to come to her eyes. She said her grandkids looked beautiful in the photos. And she has not taken photos with them like so ever and bringing this opportunity to their school was sincerely appreciated.

Rob, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?
Always trying to push me to be more creative. Which is exciting when you have the ability to be free and use the negative space any way you see fit it. The only drawback is potential for the design not being what the client likes or fitting with their vision or style.

What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Photographer?

Do the best with the equipment that you have. You don't need the top of the line equipment to start. Be proficient with your equipment, learn different techniques, and practice makes perfect. Upgrade your equipment when necessary.

Are you looking for collaboration with fashion talents, brands and creatives? If yes, please state what type of collaboration you are looking for?
Always look for opportunities for collaborative projects with fashion designers, event coordinators, properties, magazines etc. Looking to do more projects on a national or even international level is my goal for myself, my company and my models.

Now for the best part Rob! Please upload 5-10 photos so we can get to see your work.
