ReDLark, Manila is a business development focused agency; basically, a specialised team; a pool of services that we are currently working on and have experienced for quite some time. We love to learn new things. We want to meet new people from different places, thus, our interest in Social Media which kept us updated on the latest news and stuff we put our eye on. We have quite some work experiences combined from a publishing company to recording companies; an ad agency to consumer goods companies. We have photographers, writers, fashion designers, social entrepreneurs, all crazy creatives. Conceptualising, coming up with unique ideas make our day. Our team at ReDLark, Manila share a common goal, and we are lucky to have each other in projects which we want to share collectively despite our diverse backgrounds - focusing on Filipino fashion, photography, digital arts, cause-oriented events, books, magazines, music, tourism ... you name it. We get excited when we have projects that can be brought across different countries and discover other things as well through collaboration, and we have recently done that. Please check out our FB page, IG and website; perhaps we can interest you and the others. Who knows, you might find something new in what we do. We'll let our work speak for RLM. As they say, there's beauty in diversity.
Our readers would love to get to know you more REDLARK. Tell us about yourself, what is unique about you, your brand or the services you offer?
REDLARK, MANILA is a group of creative individuals formed by Dorcas Grace Lectura. We are all Filipinos, and we require three critical things from each other: creativity, character and passion for the craft. We are advocates of Filipino culture and arts. But we are also admirers and followers of other foreign artists from various industries. Our uniqueness comes from the different disciplines combined within the team. We practice creative diplomacy to the advantage of our clients and audiences. We love challenging tasks that will not only show our creative side but our ability to build businesses, personalities, names or brands out of it.
REDLARK, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Creative Agency?
As a team, our passions brought us together. We like to explore ideas that have not been done before. Our values are somehow the same; we believe in the amount of investing and putting our heads together to come up with the best ideas and concepts. We also want to contribute to society through all our projects. If the change improves our future, then we are all for it.
Who is your inspiration in life REDLARK? How do you stay inspired as Creative Agency?
We are inspired by being who we are as a people. We want to contribute to the world by going beyond our comfort zones and break barriers. We try to put more value on what we do and excel through it.
We all make mistakes REDLARK; we wish we could take back. What was the error you made in the past that you want to you can bring back?
In life, there are no mistakes. Just lessons learned.
REDLARK, How do you describe yourself regarding working with clients?
We call our clients partners. Because whatever we do and decide on reflects on our collaborative effort. When it comes to results, we don't cut corners; we find ways.
Please tell us REDLARK, how do you prioritise work, social life, friends, and family?
The Redlark team, as our name suggests is a flock. We're like family. It's important to have each of our priorities clear.
REDLARK, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully.
We believe in creative diplomacy. Most of the time, creativity is being limited by what clients require. Our previous projects will show clients what we are capable of and it is very important to come up with a similar story that they will understand. Everybody wants to know what's in it for them. We give them more.
REDLARK, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Creative Agency.
We were partners with the Famas Awards this year. It's the Oscar's- Filipino version. We are still going to be part of the project next year and are currently working on more new additions for the awards night.
REDLARK, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or challenging about it?
Our team is currently working on a partnership with the Department of Tourism. We have been working on finalising it since January 2018. Finally, we will be implementing it next year. It is a hard task because we needed to collaborate with various institutions worldwide, but it is exciting because it is a first for the Philippines.
What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Creative Agency?*
Put a value on your results and understand that for a business to succeed, it needs people who will be willing to invest their time and effort willingly. Believe in your goal and stay committed to it until you get there. A positive attitude will always bring you to places you never dreamed of. Being positive brings possibilities.
