My name is Rachit Vora, an astute photographer having had a diverse and wide spectrum of work experience with some of the industry barons of the glamour world. My forte lies in doing Celebrity, product, advertising, and fashion photography. This expanse of experience has ever honed my skills and helped me pursue my passion for photography.
Rachit, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Photographer?
I have a family background of charted accountants, Doctors and only I am the one who is different in the family. I never wanted to study, or you can say never wanted to read books. I always liked and believed in practical knowledge, and thus I chose my carrier to take a degree in BFA and majors in photography. That's how I got into photography.I aspire to be a leading top editorial, Fashion and celebrity photographer.
Who is your inspiration in life Rachit? How do you keep inspired?
My Inspiration in life is my aunt. She has made herself from nothing to an MD of a multinational company. I get inspired by a lot of things around me, day to day lifestyle also inspires me to create something new and creative.
We all make mistakes Rachit; we wish we could take back. Please tell us about time being a Photographer; you wish you’d handled a situation differently with a colleague.
It's a creative field, and we all have some such moments where we lose it. I also have had a time like that with one of my colleague, but we handled it well. But keeping calm and doing the right thing helps you achieve what you desire.
Rachit, when you’re working with a large number of clients, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. As a Photographer, how do you go about prioritising your clients’ needs?
As we all know not all fingers are the same. Similarly, not all clients are the same. So the best what I can deliver at the best possible price is what I serve them. Not all the needs of the clients can be fulfilled.
Please tell us Rachit, about a time you had to be very strategic in order to meet all your top priorities as a Photographer?
Just plan it well, and that's the key strategy.
Rachit, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully.
There are many such incidents you can read about them on my Instagram page.
Rachit, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Photographer. There might be many, but there is always this proudest moment that you want to share with everyone. What is it and why?
The first time when I saw my Campaign for a Designer Brand called JADE by Monica & Karishma on the billboards and all my friends and family went on sending me images of the hoardings all over Mumbai. I guess that was the proudest moment as it was the first one.
Rachit, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?
Creativity comes. Naturally, you can't force it.
What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Photographer?
Learn to light the right way as it is the most important aspect of Photography and take some knowledge first. Everyone who has a Digital Camera cannot be a photographer.
Are you looking for collaboration with fashion talents, brands and creatives? If yes, please state below what type of collaboration you are looking for?
I am looking for editorial collaborations. Would like to do some creative out of the box shoots with these fashion magazines.
