I have been shooting models for over 6 years now, studio-based, I have found a niche in working with new models, be they 14 or 40.
Pete, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Photographer?
I started photographing things back really in 1995 in Holland. I spent a day trawling small towns in Holland for a Fuji 800ISO 24 exposure film to take night time shots, which are still being used to this day. However my interest really became apparent in 2003 when i was one of the first to convert to the digital camera age, buying a Fuji S5000 bridge camera and since then i have never looked back.
Who is your inspiration in life Pete? How do you keep inspired?
Life is for looking forward not behind. no one is perfect or infallible, but the past should not hold you back from what lies ahead.
We all make mistakes Pete, we wish we could take back. Please tell us about a time being a Photographer, you wish you’d handled a situation differently with a colleague.
trying to do the right thing for all and finding out you have been fed only half-truths. I'll leave it at that
Pete, when you’re working with a large number of clients, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. As a Photographer, how do you go about prioritizing your clients’ needs?
Paying clients I treat as my number one priority in any situation, test shoots fall back slightly in this instance , however they will receive proofs within 24 hours of a shoot in normal circumstances. Communication is key in all cases.
Please tell us Pete, about a time you had to be very strategic in order to meet all your top priorities as a Photographer?
Pete, please give us an example of a time when you were able to successfully persuade someone to see things your way at work.
I use Pinterest and mood boards to give a feel for what I want to achieve, then the client has a visual aid in the conversation. this has been more successful than not using a mood board.
Pete please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Photographer. There might be many, but there is always this proudest moment that you just want to share to everyone. What is it and why?
Still looking for it!
Pete, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?
Shooting Cosplay always has it's creative elements which needs some planning.
What advice would you give to the people who wants to be successful as a Photographer?
Stick with it, always try to improve and remember the client is always right (even when they are not!)
Are you looking for collaboration with fashion talents, brands and creatives? If yes, please state below what type of collaboration you are looking for?
Working with a few more brands would be a great addition to my portfolio as up to date i have only worked for small local boutiques.
