Our readers would love to get to know you more Paulina. Tell us about yourself, what is unique about you?
I am very specific when I am doing my job. My goal is to create an invisible, not perfect but beautiful and natural complexion on the skin. I see colors out of categories. When I see a person, my imagination shows me all the matching colors!
Paulina, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Make-up Artist?
My main inspiration is the moods of music. My passion is everyday art. Observing people, especially their faces, eyes.
Who is your inspiration in life Paulina? How do you keep inspired?
My biggest inspiration is my lovely man who has more faith in me than any other person in this world. I keep inspired by watching trends, new arrivals in the shops, new textures, and color of the cosmetics.
We all make mistakes Paulina, we wish we could take back. Please tell us about a time being a Make-up Artist, you wish you’d handled a situation differently with a colleague.
I do not wish to handle any situation differently in my life. I am sure that all that has happened brought me where I am now and I've never been so happy before!
Paulina, when you’re working with a large number of clients, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. As a Make-up Artist, how do you go about prioritizing your clients’ needs?
Well, I try not to prioritize. When I have many clients in a short time I focus only on one part of makeup for every person instead of perfecting every step from the base up to mascara. So if there is e person with acne problem I make her skin flawless and I define the rest just naturally and quickly.
Please tell us, Paulina, about a time you had to be very strategic in order to meet all your top priorities as a Make-up Artist?
I am always very strategic! Because of this often I cannot find time to relax.
Paulina, please give us an example of a time when you were able to successfully persuade someone to see things your way at work.
Once I suggested that the planned exposition in the shop where I was working was completely wrong and not attractive. According to my suggestions, we have changed everything!
Paulina, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Make-up Artist. There might be many, but there is always this proudest moment that you just want to share with everyone. What is it and why?
One of my proudest accomplishments is a little but big project. I went to the center for anorexia where we made altogether many integrity games and in the end, I did make up for all of the sick girls and we had photoshoot all together! They were so happy! One of them when she finished her therapy she came to work with me in the same place!
Paulina, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?
In a job of makeup artist you always have to be creative :) The most difficult about it is to match the interests of your client together with your sense of aesthetics.
What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Make-up Artist?
Break all the rules! Use eyeshadow as a blush and use the eyebrows brush to define the lips!
Are you looking for collaboration with fashion talents, brands, and creatives? If yes, please state what type of collaboration you are looking for?
Yes, I am looking for in this moment every kind of opportunity to consider. I am open to all the nice, creative collabs!
