I play professional volleyball. I am a musical talent somewhat haha. My friends and I make up really good songs and raps. I mainly rap, but so do the song. I'm a bad dancer though so if any had some hip pop classes, they know about please save my stuff life!! I have modelled for about 6 years now, not signed because I'm not sure who I want to commit to just yet. So I'm a freelance and loving it. I am very good with styling and decorating no matter it's a person or a bathroom. I am still learning myself as well (:
Paula, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as Model?
Well... I was a TOMBOY, basically al title boy in a little girls body haha. I played football growing up every day no matter at recess or home, and I have scars and marks and sprained bone memories, but being a tomboy made me discover life in a guys perspective. Once I got to middle school, kids started to talk about me because I didn't have many clothes and my hair was never done. I mean, I grew up with a single father, so he didn't know what to do. To sum up this story. I got teased about my clothes and decided to step it up in fashion and started studying designers and clothes trends at a young age. I updated myself and became super likeable off of just my fashion choices. People started telling me I should Model and then I got scouted by a modelling school and it was history after that. :)
Who is your inspiration in life, Paula? How do you stay inspired as a Model?
I watch other aspiring models actually and learn from them. I also watch Tyra and Naomi, but that's mainly to improve my walk. My motivation is honestly my love for fashion. I can't draw, so I never became a designer, but I still have tons of ideas written down. I guess wearing different clothes makes me feel like I can be a different person.
We all make mistakes, Paula, we wish we could take back. What was the mistake you made in the past that you wish you can take back?
Not researching more about becoming a paid model and signed model when I was younger. I've always been my modelling manager since age 15 so, I've got conned a few times.
Paula, How do you describe yourself in terms of working with clients?
I am a great person to work with. I keep the set alive. I love to get to know people and get them talking to me. And once I feel comfortable, and in the right state of my, my performance is like a Beyonce tour haha.
Please tell us, Paula, how do you prioritise work, social life, friends, and family?
I am not the best organizer. But basically, I do everything t the same time. I mean sometimes I chose to model over other things because I truly want to do this for the rest of my life, but I maintain and get it all together.
Paula, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully.
Well, I'm not sure of an exact time because sooooo many things happen every day with someone lol. I work at McDonald's where there is always McTtouble haha anyways.. well basically I just had to explain to the customer one time that is lobby was no longer open due to renovation and they implied they had tompee and knew we had a bathroom. I had to explain to them why they could not come in very slowly. Because they weren't trying to hear it. That was it lol
Paula, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Model.
Being where I am now and continuing to move up!
Paula, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?
Well, a photographer I know and I did a dollar store challenge. Where you buy stuff from the dollar store and use it as a prop or background in your photo, that was super creative I came up with the idea but not the project.
What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Model?
Keep chasing your dream and learning yourself. Once you find yourself plan yourself out and follow the lead from there. Being a model is a faith walk
