Paula. Tell us ABOUT yourself.
During my studies I wondered what area I was going to focus on, but after working in haute couture boutiques I started to get to know this magical world and fall in love with it.

Having finished my university studies, now as a fashion designer I decided to start my brand with everything that it implies, starting gradually with focus on details. With time I learned to enrich the creativity and to have empathy with the clients.

I started studies on fashion business in order to be able to deploy the brand with a business approach. This specialization, along with others, gave me the courage to face the world of fashion with the impetus that it entails.

Paula Christensen is a hard working woman, with great aspirations and a long way to go.

Yes

Our readers would love to get to know you more Paula. Tell us about yourself, what is unique about you?

The patience and dedication that I put in each design.

Paula, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Designer?

I am a very detailed and hardworking person who aims to find the perfect design for each woman and generate the perfect fit of it.
I started as a designer making custom designs and nowadays I have a Pret a porter collection.

Who is your inspiration in life Paula? How do you keep inspired?

My inspiration is my sister, she is a very creative woman with great ideas and projects. There are many Argentine designers with great potential that keeps me inspired and generate novelty as Gabriel Lage.

We all make mistakes Paula, we wish we could take back. Please tell us about a time being a Designer , you wish you’d handled a situation differently with a colleague.
Once I had a misunderstanding with a colleague and ended up making a dress that was not true to my style.

Paula ,when you’re working with a large number of clients, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. As a Designer, how do you go about prioritizing your clients’ needs?

I see clients by appointment only, in order to attend them in a personalized way and give them the best service possible.

Please tell us Paula, about a time you had to be very strategic in order to meet all your top priorities as a Designer?

When I started as a designer, I had to be very strategic with the first clients so that they could trust me despite having no references. I had to prove that I was a designer who could solve any problem.

Paula, please give us an example of a time when you were able to successfully persuade someone to see things your way at work.
Once a customer came with a design in mind that in my opinion would not favor her, therefore it was my job to persuade and convince her to choose another design that would suit her better and she would feel more comfortable with.

Paula please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Designer. There might be many, but there is always this proudest moment that you just want to share to everyone. What is it and why?
My proudest professional accomplishment as a designer was the first dress I ever made. It was one that I used at my brothers's wedding and I was proud to wear my own creation.

Paula, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?
When I was at the university I did several creative works but it was very difficult to meet the expectations and taste of each teacher. Luckily, nowadays I can be creative with all my designs because I do not have to report to anyone.

What advice would you give to the people who wants to be successful as a Designer?

My advice is to be perseverant because they will have many failures throughout their careers but they can be of much experience to go forward and succeed.

Are you looking for collaboration with fashion talents, brands and creatives? If yes, please state below what type of collaboration you are looking for?
For the moment I'm not looking for collaborations, but in the future I would like to collaborate with some photographer or creative.

Now for the best part Paula! Please upload 5-10 photos so we can get to see your work.
