Oxana, please, tell us your talent/work rate per hour?
Photography and retouching 65 $ per hour

I studied to learn photography about four years ago, but since that time I had a long break in taking pictures. About year ago I found myself interested in Beauty photo shooting and Fashion. Worked on model-tests for a model agency, on a beauty product project photoshoot, and for Makeup artist catalogue, commercial and advertising projects in my native city Zaporozhye, Ukraine.

I am good at working with creative organization and planning of the project. One of my favourite things in planning its to make a "mood board" with stylists and designers. To share my opinion about future photo session and look, to work in a team of professionals, its really important thing, as for me, for realizing the idea, and make it look fashioned.

Most of my favourite photoshoots were my projects. And I say so not because I m selfish, but because on them you can see models, whom I chose and invited to my project. I let them speak on my pictures and showed their character and mood. That's my thing.

My works have been printed on some big boards in my native city in Ukraine, in online media magazine in Russia, and right now I am one of selected fashion and beauty photographers by Modelcitizen magazine.

I am dreaming about working with them most open-minded and creative people all over the world; be printed on the most famous magazines; open my photo studio with an art-room for designers and stylists;

I am specializing in:
-Fashion, Beauty and Editorial
-Model tests
-Fine arts
-Re-touching in Adobe Photoshop

Our readers would love to get to know you more Oxana. Tell us about yourself, what is unique about you?

I am the easygoing person who is not afraid of any difficulties. I am trying to make my photos no simple flat images, but the pictures that will show a story, pass the nature of the person on it and keep the idea of the photoshoot

Oxana, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Photographer?

When I was a kid, I was dreaming about the career of fashion designer and was imagining how my clothes could look on magazines. When I get started taking pictures I had no any clue how it will involve me into a process of taking fashion pictures. I am always trying to make people's eyes "stuck" on my works and admire them.

Who is your inspiration in life Oxana? How do you keep inspired?

Beautiful and talented people, travelling and nature, music makes me inspired

We all make mistakes Oxana; we wish we could take back. Please tell us about time being a Photographer; you wish you’d handled a situation differently with a colleague.
Once, when I just get started to take pictures, and manage my projects, I had photo session, which I could handle, as I thought, but it did not work. I invited my friend - model, who suppose to be a professional, and that was my mistake. For that time I was sure that photographer should not communicate with a model because the real model knows her duties and knows how to work. I believe that she made everything she could, to look exactly I need, and it was my fault not to tell her what to do.Thatsall about planning.
If I manage this project right now, I'd communicate with her, and not as a friend, but as a professional photographer to a professional model

Oxana, when you’re working with a large number of clients, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. As a Photographer, how do you go about prioritizing your clients’ needs?

The requirements of the client and the final date of the project. First of all I'll finish commercial, then other projects, and only then my own.

Please tell us Oxana, about a time you had to be very strategic to meet all your top priorities as a Photographer?

Every project that I'm working with need to be well planned and has a strong strategy, to minimize chances to get not satisfying results. So I can tell that this happens all the time.

Oxana, please give us an example of a time when you were able to successfully persuade someone to see things your way at work.
Once one Russian Beauty magazine was looking for a cover picture for their next circulation, and they provided a competition, which I successfully pass

Oxana, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Photographer. There might be many, but there is always this proudest moment that you just want to share with everyone. What is it and why?
Taking pictures close to that, which I had in my imagination, before making a shoot. See the point of the photoshooting, keeping and transferring the right idea into my pictures.

Oxana, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?
Beauty photo session in collaboration with makeup artist Ivko was my first really exciting work because at this photo session I was working with liquid makeup products first time in my life. You should be very strict in your actions, and at the same time see the difference between shoots, light, and see and manage some mistakes.

What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Photographer?

Stay true.

Are you looking for collaboration with fashion talents, brands and creatives? If yes, please state below what type of collaboration you are looking for?
I am looking for collaboration with fashion designers and makeup artists.

Now for the best part Oxana! Please upload 5-10 photos so we can get to see your work.
