Never standing still! Constantly learn and improve my skills. Very passionate about nature!) if I start something to do, trying to bring to the ideal! I love to travel. I like to draw.
Oxana, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Make-up Artist?
My Passion and aspiration in life - to realise all my creative ideas and abilities! I feel I can pretty much do in my profession and I wish to grow in it! Want to go international and do a beautiful shooting for magazines and catalogues, to work on the shows.
Who is your inspiration in life Oxana? How do you keep inspired?
My inspiration is life around! It's all that surrounds me.... I can go to the hardware store and see every detail I come up with an idea how I can apply in the hair and makeup!))) I can go to nature, and my mind is images of flowers, grass etc.... I love to create accessories for filming my hands!
We all make mistakes Oxana; we wish we could take back. Please tell us about time being a Make-up Artist; you wish you’d handled a situation differently with a colleague.
The profession of a makeup artist, I've mastered the basic 3-month course.... then there were many courses and many workshops.
Oxana, when you’re working with a large number of clients, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. As a Make-up Artist, how do you go about prioritising your clients’ needs?
I try to leave enough time for each client! And of course, it is very important with the client to communicate and be positive! The client should remain comfortable and light feeling after a visit to the stylist, and the desire to come back again!
Please tell us Oxana, about a time you had to be very strategic to meet all your top priorities as a Make-up Artist?
The main thing for arctan ist is to be aware of current trends, to have quality makeup and be friends with very talented photographers and designers!!)))
Oxana, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully.
Often, a client comes with his request, and I correct his request for its natural characteristics and individual characteristics. Damn, when I explain to the client that suits him and what doesn't.
Oxana, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Make-up Artist. There might be many, but there is always this proudest moment that you just want to share with everyone. What is it and why?
My first training with the right teaching at the Academy Make-Up Atelier Paris (Moscow), after which I taught a little bit makeup people without experience. Then my achievement for me was a full upgrade of my briefcase makeup artist! I used to work on only one brand and that long a break, to switch to a multi-brand look!))) now my achievement is the freedom to Express my creativity!!!
Oxana, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?
With that I face constantly)))) when the photographer provides a sample of what he wants to see, and I puzzled over how to do it or when to bring... from scrap materials prigoditsa tinkering with accessories and bases for filming))) when you have to create new textures and colors from there.... etc.
What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Make-up Artist?
The most important advice: to learn all the time!!!!! To learn not only the makeup, and much more: to draw, sing, dance, take photographs, sculpt...... To develop their creativity and creative vision. To find your style of work. And still need very much to watch the work of their colleagues!
Are you looking for collaboration with fashion talents, brands and creatives? If yes, please state what type of collaboration you are looking for?
Of course, I'm looking for collaboration with designers, photographers, etc. If I am very interested in the project, I am willing to TFP conditions. If it's more commercial work, then I'm happy to always be in the team!!))))
