I love quick and have inspired many people with my articles, personality and pure professionalism. I enjoy working with others and have a keen interest in shopping, music and visiting new places.
Mishani Lení©, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as Model?
My goal is to build up such a diverse portfolio so that I can get quality for Miss South Africa. I aspire to complete 100 hours of community service by 2022 as I have achieved well over 30 hours in the past two years. I've always loved being in front of the camera and started modelling after a few people kept telling me that I have the looks, body and personality to be an aspiring model. Since I never had photoshoot photos against the wall as a child... I strives to be able to have photos of myself from a proper photoshoot
Who is your inspiration in life Mishani Lení©? How do you stay inspired as a Model?
I am constantly putting new photo ideas out to photographers, and the reward of stunning photos coupled with the compliments after working with me has inspired me to keep wanting to do more. After many walks on the catwalks of showcasing clothing, the feeling of being told you look stunning has aspired me to follow my dreams
We all make mistakes Mishani Lení©; we wish we could take back. What was the mistake you made in the past that you wish you can take back?
I attended a, and my makeup was not professionally done where my eyes were not suited for the makeup at all, and the photos were a complete flop. I also was away for the weekend after being chosen to model for the semi-finals of Miss South Africa 2018 as part of the fashion show. Such a pity I missed it
Mishani Lení©, How do you describe yourself in terms of working with clients?
The quote äóìyour smile inspires me is your logo; your personality is your business card; how you leave others feeling after having an experience with you becomes your trademarkäó - Jay Denzie. I work well with clients, being friendly and helpful in all that I do. I take criticism well and have earned trust and loyalty when working with clients. My reputation is very important to me.
Please tell us Mishani Lení©, how do you prioritise work, social life, friends, and family?
My religion comes first. My family second and then my passion in life (modelling). Although I spend a lot of time studying and doing work, I have a balanced life and ensure I make time for friends, socials and relaxing.
Mishani Lení©, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully.
I am always fully prepared and enjoy working collaboratively. I never judge nor dehumanise people and am still willing to encourage, uplift and sincerely guide people when I disagree. There was a time when we had to do a group project, and I did not think that the discussed concept related to the topic. So I compiled an entire booklet showing the benefits of my idea and how it would be successful. I illustrated it well, and after using my public speaking skills (Dale Carnegie course), I was able to persuade them to use my idea instead of as everything had been organized, tested and research had been done stating how mine would work better for concept by incorporating their ideas well but not solely using their ideas.
Mishani Lení©, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Model.
I was featured in our local newspaper a few times. I have crowned Miss Global Beauty 2nd princess as well as Miss Golden SA 1st princess. I was scouted by the Brand model magazine to submit my photo as well as being featured in The Earth Collection (Clothing) Cape Town Catalog. I was selected as a semifinalist for Miss New Wave Gateway.
Mishani Lení©, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?
I hosted two photogenic competitions where I was responsible for all the social media and branding for the competition. I designed an incredible advert that was given recognition by a few credible sources. I was able to completely let my creativity run wild, and the results were incredible!! It was exciting to be able to see my visit for the advert come alive and reveal itself to be visually appealing. I loved experimenting as trying different layouts and ways of communicating my information.
What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Model?
Your reputation is everything. You should always build a strong relationship with the photographer and ensure both parties are comfortable. You should pay attention to small details when walking down the catwalk or being photographed. You should have a positive attitude at all times and let your personality come to life on stage, and in the photos you create. First impression matter as a model!! Be sure to be on time, dressed appropriately and prepared for any event/photoshoot.
