I am unique because of my personality. I love people and can collaborate with whoever and make the best of it. A lot of times when I collaborate with someone new they are shocked that they do not have to direct me or position me, I automatically do it and have posted in mind beforehand. I am prepared and outgoing which makes shoots and bein on set more fun. Also, I have been on set for famous tv shows and am pursuing my career in every angle possible.
Miranda, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Model?
My passion is modelling. I love acting, but modelling is more soothing to me. I started modelling to help me, and after my first shoot I fell in love and started shooting with different photographers. I have built my self-esteem higher and gained confidence in myself. Not only does modelling help the way I feel about myself but it is my happy place. When I am sad or mad or just in a bad mood, I can hang out with a photographer or model and maybe shoot a little, and I feel much better.
Who is your inspiration in life Miranda? How do you keep inspired?
My inspiration would be myself in 10 years. I keep inspired by pushing and achieving goals that I have set to know that I accomplished something in my life and have stories to tell.
We all make mistakes Miranda; we wish we could take back. Please tell us about time being a Model; you wish you’d handled a situation differently with a colleague.
So Far I do not have any mistakes that I have made with a colleague and hoped to never come across that situation. I am strong I my faith so I can handle situations very well and make a negative a positive. The way I see it is to kill them with kindness. That's the best method.
Miranda, when you’re working with a large number of clients, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. As a Model, how do you go about prioritising your clients’ needs?
Well as anyone would, I give service with a smile. Whether I agree with the outfit or not I push forward as if I love it and make it's fun time so people can enjoy working with me instead of complaining and making it difficult for people.
Please tell us, Miranda, about a time you had to be very strategic in order to meet all your top priorities as a Model?
Well, as a model I have shot all the time. I do not have an agent or an assistant right now, so I always have to book my shoots, prepare my outfits, get my hair and makeup done and make sure I have posted in mind for every shoot. I try and switch it up and try different strategies for each shoot and by doing this, it helps the photographer as well because I come prepared to work.
Miranda, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully.
When I shoot with new photographers, I usually hear their ideas and take into consideration their wants and needs. While I am posing in areas, they want I also throw out suggestions in a positive manner, and usually, I get to try them out, and it becomes a good experience because they like the way it came out as well as myself. Usually, when you are kind, you can bargain or give your input on something and make it a successful suggestion.
Miranda, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Model. There might be many, but there is always this proudest moment that you want to share with everyone. What is it and why?
My proudest moment as a model so far would be going to open calls in LA and keeping a positive attitude when I don't hear back from them. I understand it is a competitive industry so to me I don't think of it as a fail I think of it as something I need to improve on to achieve my goal.
Miranda, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?
I have a photographer whom I book, and she lets me pick the location, the theme, and literally, I get to throw my ideas at her and plan my shoot. I have done an all glitter photo shoot (partially naked), and we made a beautiful piece of art out of the photoshoot. It was unique and cool, and no one has done that, well around our area at least. It makes me proud because I can be as creative as I want and she gets it done and allows me to be as difficult and clever as I want. It was not exciting and difficult. We had to find an easy way to make the glitter stick to my body and also design a costume to match.
What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Model?
The best advice I would give is don't let people bring you down. If someone sees you doing something positive they will try their hardest to tear you apart by you, have to be strong and rise above that a situation. Also be kind, and do not be difficult. That way more people will want to work with you, and you get a good reputation.
Are you looking for collaboration with fashion talents, brands and creatives? If yes, please state below what type of collaboration you are looking for?
Most definitely! I am looking to collaborate with as many models and photographers I possibly can! I am interested in boutique modelling or modelling for fashion lines, I think all types of modelling can be creative and fun and the more areas you model in as in print or commercial or magazine the more opportunities you get.
