How I think is probably one of the unique things about me. I've been blessed to be able to do just about anything I put my mind to whether it be physically or mentally. So applying how I think to laser focus on a skill or research keeps my mind from wandering and helps me get what I need out of whatever I'm doing.
Miles, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Model?
I have multiple passions. Basketball, music, cooking, working out, and rapping is just some. Although, my aspirations in life are to own a software company that I am trying to start currently, own real estate and make some collaborative and coloring workspaces for people that love to travel. Maybe also play basketball professionally and become a rapper, haha but those are dreams. I started as a model when I graduated from college. My mom said I should try it out and I am a momma's boy.
Who is your inspiration in life Miles? How do you keep inspired?
Honestly, it's very tough. I don't fit in in the corporate world; I tried that. My inspiration comes from myself and my family. Nothing fuels my motivation more than that.
We all make mistakes Miles; we wish we could take back. Please tell us about time being a Model; you wish you’d handled a situation differently with a colleague.
Working with a photographer. He told me a date but not a time. It was while I was still in corporate work and I didn't have any time to sacrifice, especially a whole day. I emailed him twice asking what time and never got a reply, so it was both of our faults.
Miles, when you’re working with a large number of clients, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. As a Model, how do you go about prioritising your clients’ needs?
Based on past relationships and rapport. Money isn't a big deal to me. I love being able to showcase my body and show how much work I put into it.
Please tell us, Miles, about a time you had to be very strategic in order to meet all your top priorities as a Model?
I had to go and meet some agencies in NYC, so I had to take off work to go and chase this dream I want so badly.
Miles, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully.
Psychology is fascinating to me. I was in a sales position so just leaving the customer with something to elevate how they should think or change their mindset and have them think about it for a night usually turns out for the better. For the company and me.
Miles, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Model. There might be many, but there is always this proudest moment that you want to share with everyone. What is it and why?
Doing a commercial with a client here in Oklahoma. I was on billboards, stores, and all around Oklahoma City and the metro area. My family called me every day saying that they saw me.
Miles, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?
Going out to shoot with my friends here in OKC. It's the most exciting feeling to see my movements and positions to make something beautiful.. or just super cool.
What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Model?
Be patient. Patience is a virtue I hold close to my heart; I'm still patient because I can still grow. There will be ups and downs, but ultimately, you are the reaper of what you sow. If you want it as bad as you do then go out and get it
Are you looking for collaboration with fashion talents, brands and creatives? If yes, please state what type of collaboration you are looking for?
Yes, anyone that wants to make some art. High fashion, sports, surfboards, whatever. If it has a good intention, then I'm in.
