My carrier in fashion industry started when I became a model, when I was 17 years old. I studied fashion design in my hometown Kaunas. I work as stylist and designer, also for some projects still working as a model.
I have variety of hobbies and interests, from sport to art, cosmic discoveries to politics. This is the reason from my point of view about fashion, I think it’s not only clothes. Fashion is just a reflection of our everyday life.
I am very good at making collages and creating concepts. I always look for logical way, constructing clothes. I make patterns and sew all prototypes by my own, until it satisfies me.

Our readers would love to get to know you more Milda. Tell us about yourself, what is unique about you?

I love sports! One of my favorite sport is boxing. It became very important in my life, after pregnancy, when I wanted to loose weight.
Also I am a book worm, I love reading!

Milda, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Designer?

My aspiration isn’t fame, but I want to be known for my work. I’m very dedicated as a designer and I put a lot of love in my creations.

Who is your inspiration in life Milda? How do you keep inspired?

People and actions they are taking are inspiration. I don’t actually intentionally look for inspiration, I choose objects of experiences from my own life. For example childhood memories, sport exercises, my daughters crazy ideas in everyday life.

We all make mistakes Milda, we wish we could take back. Please tell us about a time being a Designer , you wish you’d handled a situation differently with a colleague.
I think you can’t rule the work alone :) everybody could be much stronger with colleague, working in a team. Just it is very important for both sides to understand their responsibilities and what which place they belong exactly in a team.

Milda ,when you’re working with a large number of clients, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. As a Designer, how do you go about prioritizing your clients’ needs?

All clients are important, but I think in that kind of situations you should prioritize in a matter of time.

Please tell us Milda, about a time you had to be very strategic in order to meet all your top priorities as a Designer?

YES! Being a designer isn’t only drawing beautiful sketches and looking for fabrics. You must have a kit of different talents and one of the most important is - time management.

Milda, please give us an example of a time when you were able to successfully persuade someone to see things your way at work.
I’m very persuasive, when I want something I persuade!

Milda please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Designer. There might be many, but there is always this proudest moment that you just want to share to everyone. What is it and why?
Being at Frankfurt Style Award fashion designers contest final and young talents contest “Injekcija” final. It gave me more confidence about my chosen path.

Milda, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?
Designer have to be creative in every step in this profession. Starting from moodboard and at the final when you have to deal with a client :)

What advice would you give to the people who wants to be successful as a Designer?

#workworkworkworkwork and always push yourself, never wait when someone will discover you. 99.99 % it is not going to happen.

Are you looking for collaboration with fashion talents, brands and creatives? If yes, please state below what type of collaboration you are looking for?
I’m very much interested in working with designers, especially brands and creative people. I love working in a team!

Now for the best part Milda! Please upload 5-10 photos so we can get to see your work.
