I’m very down to earth. I never let things get to me. I’m not one to let negative criticism upset me. It’s a learning tool and it’s needed to make me better at what I do.
Megan, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Model?
Ever since I was born, I had a camera in my face. No matter what I did, it is documented somewhere. I even did pageants and always won an award for being photogenic, so I wanted to make a future out of it.
Who is your inspiration in life Megan? How do you keep inspired?
I would say that Zendaya is my inspiration. She is so beautiful and has made such a wonderful life for herself. I think she is such a wonderful inspiration because of how kind her heart is. I hope that one-day young girls can look up to me the way they look up to her.
We all make mistakes Megan; we wish we could take back. Please tell us about time being a Model; you wish you’d handled a situation differently with a colleague.
In all honesty, I haven’t experienced this problem. I take what the photographer gives me, and I make it work. If there is an issue, then we communicate to find the best angles.
Megan, when you’re working with a large number of clients, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. As a Model, how do you go about prioritising your clients’ needs?
You have to make sure what the photographer is looking to get out of this shoot. What are their message and inspiration and how can you, the model, bring that to life.
Please tell us, Megan, about a time you had to be very strategic in order to meet all your top priorities as a Model?
Well, I have a job in a hospital, so I always have to consider my schedule like doing a shoot on my lunch break or making the best of a busy situation.
Megan, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully.
It’s always best to communicate in these situations. Just talking with the photographer or artist is the best way of going about getting someone to see from your point of view.
Megan, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Model. There might be many, but there is always this proudest moment that you want to share with everyone. What is it and why?
I think every successful shoot is a proud moment for me. There’s this awe at the fact that a photographer and I can capture moments that are truly magnificent.
Megan, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?
I get a lot of free rein on what I wear when it comes to shoots. So I like to put my personal touch on my outfits.
What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Model?
Don’t give up. Keep trying and working your way up. Every little bit of recognition helps. Try your hardest to get noticed, and don’t be afraid of putting yourself out there.
Are you looking for collaboration with fashion talents, brands and creatives? If yes, please state below what type of collaboration you are looking for?
Yes, in all honesty, I’m looking to experience everything the modelling world has to offer. No job is too small nor too big.
