ABOUT

I'm pretty much an ordinary guy; I think the way I see things around me its quite unique, everyone's has their own perspective on the world, and I'm no different and one thing about photography that I love its that it actually helps you to create that one perspective!

Mauro, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Photographer?

My passions are film and photography although similar they very unique their own way.

Who is your inspiration in life Mauro? How do you keep inspired?

Everything starts with an idea, an image in your mind, a thought .. then you go with the flow, it's just something abstract, at least in my case.

We all make mistakes Mauro; we wish we could take back. Please tell us about time being a Photographer; you wish you’d handled a situation differently with a colleague.

There's a bunch of them, this is all a very organic process it takes time, and you gotta make choices, sometimes you go wrong, you know you can't go back in time, so the only option available that I know of is keeping up and don't look back , mistakes are part of what we are as Humans, can't change that so get over it .

Mauro, when you’re working with a large number of clients, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. As a Photographer, how do you go about prioritising your clients’ needs?

The best thing is always to set a goal in your mind and work that way, this is tricky, you just have to find your own way to deal with it, remember this is an organic process so you have to adapt the best way you can and with time you'll find the answers you need.

Please tell us, Mauro, about a time you had to be very strategic in order to meet all your top priorities as a Photographer?

There was this time I had this huge amount of photos to edit as soon as possible and.. well just like I said you have to adapt set the goal on your mind all you need is to believe you can do it. The whole process requires a lot of dedication you gotta really like what you're doing.

Mauro, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully.

I wouldn't say persuade, rather show them the way I think its the best option to take. I can't really recall one, but I think every time I need to change something at work, I first have to make them realise their other ways around.

Mauro, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Photographer. There might be many, but there is always this proudest moment that you want to share with everyone. What is it and why?

Well maybe when my first short film got selected to a festival, it was an all new experience to me, and I met other people like me, other people in the film, with different ideas, more experience, all kinds. So having a chance to be part of that was great !!

Mauro, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?

Basically every time you got a chance to do things your way, your style, its amazing. When I was working for this online TV and was able to do things my way, be creating my own way, was awesome, but also when you take the lead then the pressure on you, but you have to deal with it your own way.

What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Photographer?

Create short-term goals that you're able to reach in decent time, work on them one by one, give it time. Do things your way, don't limit yourself to copy others, be aware of your potential, you're in charge and no one else to make it count.

Are you looking for collaboration with fashion talents, brands and creatives? If yes, please state below what type of collaboration you are looking for?

Always, the road is long and I don't want to get there, wherever, alone, so always happy to help and be helped. Collaborations in film, photography always welcome, art its better if shared so are ideas!
