I like to bring my creativity to all my shoots big or small. I come from a family of photographers that push me to be my best.
Matthew, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Photographer?
My passion is photography. I want to be the best that I can be.I started photography at an early age watching my father and soaking of the beauty in everything.
Who is your inspiration in life Matthew? How do you keep inspired?
My biggest inspirations are my family and friends. They keep me fighting even when I want to give up on everything.
We all make mistakes Matthew; we wish we could take back. Please tell us about time being a Photographer; you wish you’d handled a situation differently with a colleague.
I don't often get into many problems. I guess my biggest problem was a double booking. I felt like I wasted people time and that wasn't fair.
Matthew, when you’re working with a large number of clients, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. As a Photographer, how do you go about prioritising your clients’ needs?
Taking many jobs at once can be overwhelming the best thing to do is hire some extra help so that you can tackle the workload effectively.
Please tell us, Matthew, about a time you had to be very strategic to meet all your top priorities as a Photographer?
Recently I was tasked with a baby photo shoot as well as a wedding in the same day. What I did was schedule the baby shoot in the morning, and since the wedding was at night, I was able to handle both with no problems.
matthew, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully.
I work with a lot of clients, and everybody is different. I try to find middle ground with the people I work with. I always try to go for the vision the client works, but if I see a better way there, vision can be shot I take the opportunity and show them the results after. Most people like what I bring to the result.
Matthew, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Photographer. There might be many, but there is always this proudest moment that you just want to share with everyone. What is it and why?
As a student at Santa Ana College, I entered four submissions into the student art show, and all four got excepted. Out of the four, three of the photos won awards. The very proud moment for me.
Matthew, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?
Being a photographer, I am always looking for new ways to separate my self from everyone. I take every photo shoot as an opportunity to be creative. I either try to make my lighting interesting or use props as much as possible.
What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Photographer?
Don't give up. If things get hard just try your best take every failure as a learning experience.
Are you looking for collaboration with fashion talents, brands and creatives? If yes, please state what type of collaboration you are looking for?
Always looking to collaborate with models, photographers and makeup artist.
