Combat veteran actor that's been around the world and started as a kid from Huntington Beach.
Matthew, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as Actor?
I always wanted to be an actor growing up, but I was incredibly shy. Stand in front of people and talking terrified me. The Marines took care of the problem, and I fell into acting when I left the military.
Who is your inspiration in life Matthew? How do you stay inspired as an Actor?
Constant growth and discovery. I love stumbling across a french new wave film I haven't seen yet or strumbled into a random art gallery. Seeing the world around me and all of its intricate details, I find to be the source for my work.
We all make mistakes Matthew; we wish we could take back. What was the mistake you made in the past that you wish you can take back?
I am seeing my grandfather when passing away. I was overseas, and I couldn't do anything about it, but I still regret to this day I was there. He was an incredible and kind man who spoke nothing but broken Italian-English.
matthew, How do you describe yourself in terms of working with clients?
Direct me! If you want something specific and give me a general direction that you can't be mad if it's not exactly what you were looking for.
Please tell us, Matthew, how do you prioritise work, social life, friends, and family?
Work, family, friends, social life
matthew, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully.
We were celebrating my friends first regional theatre credit, and all of the bars were closed. Long story short, I convinced the liquor store to sell me alcohol after the time restriction.
matthew, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as an Actor.
Performing off-broadway and overseas
Matthew, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?
Writing and performing my work. The weight of the world was on my shoulders, but it was worth it.
What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as an Actor?
Take every opportunity you can.
