Creative Director
According to the project

I studied video editing then two years degree cinematography. In parallel, I used to practice photography for personal projects until today. Now I work for about 5 years in the video industry and I would say that I'm versatile. I work as camera operator as well as editor and creative director for films and editorial photography. I also worked as line producer for the music video.

Would you like to complete our full Editorial interview or skip straight to uploading your photos? (12 more interview questions).

Our readers would love to get to know you more Mathilde. Tell us about yourself, what is unique about you?

I'm not unique. I just would say by experience that I belong to these few people who want to stay herself anyway what happens. I don't fear anyone because I keep seeing everyone as equal.

Mathilde, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Creative Director?

I like music, dance, photography, painting, styling, travels. I mean I need to fill myself with these things every time and I need to create to feel alive.

Who is your inspiration in life Mathilde? How do you keep inspired?

As creative, my inspirations are various. I like an abundance of colors, symbols, and cultural references. My goal is to fully forget the codes and fuck people opinions because I really feel that is a drag to be successful for yourself. This work is in progress, hardly but surely.

We all make mistakes Mathilde, we wish we could take back. Please tell us about a time being a Creative Director, you wish you’d handled a situation differently with a colleague.
When I'm very upset by someone's actions, I can totally stop the communication or even break the relationship.

Mathilde, when you’re working with a large number of clients, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. As a Creative Director, how do you go about prioritizing your clients’ needs?

It's important for me to be transparent and take time to explain what is actually possible and not. Moreover, I use to find the way to match my ideas and the client's needs.

Please tell us, Mathilde, about a time you had to be very strategic in order to meet all your top priorities as a Creative Director?

I'm strategic to plan a shooting to work in the better conditions and reach as possible a high-end result according to me. But I'm not strategic at all to put the light on my work and spread it.

Mathilde, please give us an example of a time when you were able to successfully persuade someone to see things your way at work.
I just use my common sense

Mathilde, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Creative Director. There might be many, but there is always this proudest moment that you just want to share with everyone. What is it and why?
Damn, I'm barely proud... Oh yes the costume I made for my last fashion film (unpublished yet)

Mathilde, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?
The most exciting is when the ideas are emerging. The harder is to convince.

What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Creative Director?

Just be yourself. That's a real challenge today because of our actual society. The ego war is released for a while especially in this game. So forget your ego and do your things preserving all the respect you deserve.

Are you looking for collaboration with fashion talents, brands, and creatives? If yes, please state what type of collaboration you are looking for?
Of course, as every creative people, I'm always thirsty of meeting new people, new artists and talents to share and link our ideas.

Now for the best part Mathilde! Please upload 5-10 photos so we can get to see your work.
