Our readers would love to get to know you more Marta. Tell us about yourself, what is unique about you?
I used to be a model so my main focus is on beauty and catching that spark.
Marta, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Photographer?
My first passion was music which then changed to design and photography. I love observing people and how light changes their features. I also love to create whatever my imagination brings.
Who is your inspiration in life Marta? How do you keep inspired?
My biggest inspiration is life and people. When I travel, everything changes around me, the scenery, people, sounds, colors. That's a neverending source of an inspiration.
We all make mistakes Marta, we wish we could take back. Please tell us about a time being a Photographer, you wish you’d handled a situation differently with a colleague.
If I could change one personality trait, it would be honesty. I speak faster than I think :-) Working on it!
Marta, when you’re working with a large number of clients, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. As a Photographer, how do you go about prioritizing your clients’ needs?
My rule is quite simple, whoever needs pictures quicker is the first one to get them. A press job needs to be delivered on the day, a corporate event within few days and a wedding job within 2 months time. I often accept last minute clients in which case I either do over hours or outsource (very rarely).
Please tell us, Marta, about a time you had to be very strategic in order to meet all your top priorities as a Photographer?
I'm not sure I've had such a time. Photography was always a priority for me.
Marta, please give us an example of a time when you were able to successfully persuade someone to see things your way at work.
I think I have an enormous luck that my clients choose me for a certain visual style I provide, therefore I rarely need to persuade them or change their mind. The only thing I put an impact on is good timing for proper light conditions.
Marta, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Photographer. There might be many, but there is always this proudest moment that you just want to share with everyone. What is it and why?
I've got two assignments I'm proud of. First is a photo shoot for Justin Hayward from the Moody Blues. He's a music legend and we worked on illustrating his new solo tour and the album. Second is a photo shoot for Bulgari and HIA magazine. It proved I can work under pressure and in a big team.
Marta, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?
Funny enough I'm often creative when I collaborate with another artist (MUA, musicians, actors). Every new meeting brings a lot of excitement and creativity which is often a common ground for artists.
What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Photographer?
Work hard, ask questions, meet people, don't be afraid to be a beginner. The right people will notice your talent even if you're new in the business.
Are you looking for collaboration with fashion talents, brands, and creatives? If yes, please state below what type of collaboration you are looking for?
Absolutely. I'd love to collaborate with Grace Coddington. So much to learn from. I also enjoy working with the celebrities and artists of any kind. I love the artistic fusion and meeting them gives me an inspirational kick.
Now for the best part Marta! Please upload 5-10 photos so we can get to see your work.
Please add any photo credits for the photos you uploaded so that everybody can get recognized. Please fill this out properly,
