Firstly Marlena, how would you best describe yourself?

Would you like us to recommend you to clients looking for a  Model near your area?

Marlena. Tell us ABOUT yourself.
I'm an aspiring model and makeup artist. I'm starting special effects makeup school in the fall as well as trying to build up my portfolio in makeup and modelling. I love to collaborate and work with others with makeup and photographers. I like to explore different face shapes with makeup. With photographers, I like to explore their style and bring some of my own creativity into each shoot.

Our readers would love to get to know you more Marlena. Tell us about yourself, what is unique about you?

This one is a bit funny. I was actually born in my bedroom where I live currently.

Marlena, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Model?

I aspire to be the best version of myself (Corny I know.) As a kid, I watched a lot of Americas Next Top Model with my mom, and it got me started on wanting to pursue modelling or something in that field. Ever since then I've been pushing ever since to achieve this goal.

Who is your inspiration in life Marlena? How do you keep inspired?

My mom of course. My mom came to this country with about 200 dollars and one suitcase. She strived to be successful and live a better life here in America. Once she passed away, I know that I had to keep on trying to achieve true happiness and never give up on my dreams.

We all make mistakes Marlena; we wish we could take back. Please tell us about a time being a Model; you wish you’d handled a situation differently with a colleague.
I've had some awkward encounters with photographers that made me truly uncomfortable. I wish that instead of letting his actions slide I stood up for myself.

Marlena, when you’re working with a large number of clients, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. As a Model, how do you go about prioritizing your clients’ needs?

I try to be relaxed and myself. I feel like the best way to approach situations like this is to be calm and open to new ideas.

Please tell us, Marlena, about a time you had to be very strategic to meet all your top priorities as a Model?

Timing and planning everything out is important. That's the best advice I can give is to give yourself time.

Marlena, please give us an example of a time when you were able to successfully persuade someone to see things your way at work.
Again, being very open and kind is the best way to persuade someone.

Marlena, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Model. There might be many, but there is always this proudest moment that you just want to share with everyone. What is it and why?
My proudest moment for me is when I was giving some photos to my dad that was taken in my moms' wedding dress. To see someone so moved by my work was humbling, and I was proud of what I've done.

Marlena, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?
In one of my recent shoots, I got to ride an old bike and just let loose. It was a lot of fun just to play; it didn't feel like I was posing for photos it was more like... artistically goofing off.

What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Model?

Be yourself. Be true to yourself. That's the best advice I can give. If you stay true to yourself things will go your way.

Now for the best part Marlena! Please upload 5-10 photos so we can get to see your work.
