I am willing to travel and to try different things. I love meeting new people because I feel you learn so much more when people come into our lives. This is not just a dream for me this is my future goal. I will not stop till I conquer. I am originally from Connecticut, but I have traveled all over the United States. I have been a bartender since I was 19 year's old.
Our readers would love to get to know you more MARISA. Tell us about yourself, what is unique about you?
I always say I am different than anyone else. I am a Yankee with gipsy blood. I love to travel and push myself to experience everything head on. I am friendly, outgoing and energetic. I have a big heart and a sailors mouth. I am very honest. Once I start something, I don't stop till I conquer it. I am a fast learner, and I take direction easily. I work well with others. I am half Italian and half French Canadian. I am a unique bundle of fire!!
MARISA, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Model?
I have always been told I should model but never persuade it. I had broken my leg and was bed bound. I have so much energy that I started looking into modeling and emailing different photographer's all over, and I worked hard so I wouldn't have a limp and here I am now. It still blows my mind that this is even happening. But I love it!! I also do my hair and makeup. I also have styled all my shoots so far.
Who is your inspiration in life MARISA? How do you keep inspired?
My inspiration in life is my 16-year-old daughter. It has been just her and me since she was 2.I would be lost without her. I have shown her what a good work ethic is and she is my twin. Maybe one day she will get into modeling too. We would make a great team
We all make mistakes MARISA; we wish we could take back. Please tell us about time being a Model; you wish you’d handled a situation differently with a colleague.
I don't have any regrets. I knew my standards and what my limits are. I never put myself in that situation. But I always seem to think of different poses after the shoot is over and say to myself why didn't you do that.
MARISA, when you’re working with a large number of clients, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. As a Model, how do you go about prioritizing your clients’ needs?
To me, I like to always be a step ahead of the game. I also like putting myself into character. It helps a lot to get a little back round so I can prepare for the shoot. I am a very organized person.
Please tell us MARISA, about a time you had to be very strategic to meet all your top priorities as a Model?
Probably when I had to become a character for a post-apocalyptic shoot. I and another female model had to be two wild crazy girls taking over towns and killing anyone who stood in our way.I must say it was a blast. Her next shoot should be another interesting one. Cat fight at a trailer park. Can't wait
MARISA, please give us an example of a time when you were able to successfully persuade someone to see things your way at work.
I am very good at explaining situations, and what I expect out of someone. I have been a manager many times and I have great people skills. Plus I am a smooth talker
MARISA, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Model. There might be many, but there is always this proudest moment that you just want to share with everyone. What is it and why?
I would probably say my last shoot. It was the first time I seen what everyone has seen in me. I saw that beautiful girl that everyone said should become a model. It was very overwhelming and emotional. I can't believe it took this long. I mean don't get me wrong I am a very confident person.
MARISA, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?
Getting ready for the shoot. Like I said I style and I do my hair and makeup. That is very exciting to me, but it can be difficult at times, but I love that. It keeps me alive
What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Model?*
Know your boundaries. Don't let anyone make you go past them. I would also recommend always having an escort if you knew to the photographer. The first time you shoot together.
Are you looking for collaboration with fashion talents, brands and creatives? If yes, please state what type of collaboration you are looking for?
I am willing to try different things. I do love to calibrate. I love working with different photographers. Everyone has different ways of shooting and different imagination. That's what I love about my page's. You can see the different looks. I tell people if I have a look you are looking for, throw me the idea. I will either say yes or no.
