State / Region
Despite a nasty stereotype that pretty girl cannot be smart, I am quite fluent in several languages, and right now I am starting my studying at Saint-Petersburg state university at Artificial Intelligence and Cognitivist. I am also keen on cinematography and art. I believe that my uniqueness comes from my ability to work to overcome challenges and achieve my dreams constantly. Yes, I am a workaholic. But in a good way.
Maria, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as Model?
Let's begin this story from my childhood. I was a chubby kid, and my classmates bullied me a lot for that as calling Š—“a fat pigŠ—. However, right now I've already lost 34 kilos and work with several modelling agencies. Since my younger years, I've always been very creative: that's why I decided to become a model. I love to play with poses (as I am a dancer, I am quite flexible and artistic) and put on different Š—“personalitiesŠ— in front of the camera. My career started when several scouts discovered me and offered me a contract.
Who is your inspiration in life Maria? How do you stay inspired as a Model?
I can't clearly describe it. My inspiration stays with me constantly; it is like a fire that burns inside. That fact that I am living my dream (when working as a model) always keeps me inlighted deep from the inside.
We all make mistakes Maria; we wish we could take back. What was the mistake you made in the past that you wish you can take back?
I am dying my hair black when I was 16. I was scared; I wanted to hide from the whole world behind that hair. Now I've overcome this depression and my hair is back to its natural bright red.
Maria, How do you describe yourself in terms of working with clients?
I am very friendly and polite. Usually, it is not a problem for me to break the ice and make our conversation more comfortable. I am very responsible and punctual.
Please tell us, Maria, how do you prioritise work, social life, friends, and family?
I think that I've managed to find a balance in all these areas.
Maria, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully.
When I was working for a magazine photo shoot, my role was to play a snake in a cave. My photographer was a bit shy, so I've taken the initiative in my own hands and offered her to let me Š—“crawlŠ— through that cave, to make something truly artistic and authentic, not just a standard Š—“fashion-shootingŠ—. In the end, the result was awe-inspiring.
Maria, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Model.
Working with well-known photographers
Maria, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?
My every photo shoot is creative because I always put a piece of myself in the camera. It is always difficult in the process, and it is always exciting to see a final result!
What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Model?
Stay strong and work hard.
