"We were faced with many tough situations as children, and he's more like a brother he is someone who never gave up, I strive to have that same drive."

Name: Macy Worsham

Location: Pensacola, FL

Profession: Photographer

Email Address:

About: I've explored the world of photography for over a decade. Picking up my first camera at just 5 and pointing it in anyone's direction who would smile. As an adult, I work full time with sales and visual marketing, but any free time I have, I prefer to spend it behind the camera. Some have recognised a "natural affinity" for beauty and object placement. I will always live life being led by instinct rather than calculated adjustments.

With that said, I'm an artist based out of Pensacola Florida with a burning desire to create beautiful things. My name is Macy

Tell us something about yourself. What you do, passion and aspiration in life?: I aspire to be respected in life as an artist. As someone who helped develop modern day techniques and as someone who instils the belief in everyone that they can succeed. At everything they desire.

Who is your inspiration in life? How do you keep inspired?: My uncle has always inspired me. We were faced with many tough situations as children, and he's more like a brother he is someone who never gave up, I strive to have that same drive. I will keep going until I succeed and I keep that fire lit inside by constantly learning new things and instilling them in the projects I take on.

What is the most challenging part of your profession?: Before, the most challenging part was making people feel comfortable with me. I practised proven techniques, I shadowed, and I listened to what other photographers were saying to their clients [ lucky for me my significant other works in the wedding Videography industry]. Now the biggest challenge for me is keeping up with inquiries, figuring out pricing and where the heck do I find a printer.

When you’re working with a large number of customers, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. How do you go about prioritising your customers’ needs?: I keep detailed notes on every inquiry that I get. They all go in a file folder, and I try my best to follow up with them. Being in sales, I mainly focus on clients that will meet with me in a short time frame.

How old do you have to be before it can be said you died of old age?: 80

Do glow-in-the-dark objects stop glowing when somebody turns the lights on?: No!! They still glow, but because of the light it's a dimmer glow
