I'm very driven, passionate about what I do. Once I put my mind to something I go after it, and I'm not afraid of taking risks. I believe in my craft and know that I've got what it takes to make it in the industry.
Luzuko, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Photographer?
I'm passionate about photography as an art form; I love artists such as paintings, fine art, I love music. I believe that most of the creative concepts I come up with are inspired by my taste in music and the people that I look up to who are artists as well.
Who is your inspiration in life Luzuko? How do you keep inspired?
I'm inspired by other photographers, people who have experience in the industry. I look at other photographers work as inspiration as well as the places and spaces I find myself in on a day to day basis.
We all make mistakes Luzuko; we wish we could take back. Please tell us about time being a Photographer; you wish you’d handled a situation differently with a colleague.
I think that learning from your mistakes is very important. I've been in situations where I will argue with someone who critiques my work and doesn't grasp my concept or disagrees with the way I do things in a photoshoot space.
Luzuko, when you’re working with a large number of clients, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. As a Photographer, how do you go about prioritising your clients’ needs?
I always put the needs of my clients first, and I make sure that I deliver on my promises.
Please tell us Luzuko, about a time you had to be very strategic to meet all your top priorities as a Photographer?
Between having school assignments and my photoshoots on the side, one has to be very strategic regarding managing their time; I've managed quite well regarding putting important tasks first.
Luzuko, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully.
I've had to persuade certain clients to consider using my ideas for certain shots and they've been happy with the results and even recommended me to their circle of friends.
Luzuko, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Photographer. There might be many, but there is always this proudest moment that you just want to share with everyone. What is it and why?
My proudest moment in photography was having one of my photographs printed out and featured at our campus gallery earlier this year, amongst other talented and more experienced photographers.
Luzuko, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?
I've had instances where I've had to work with over five models all at once for a shoot; this was quite challenging regarding getting everyone to co-operate and give the best of what they've got to get the perfect shots. Using my creative skills and people skills, I was able to achieve this.
What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Photographer?
To believe in themselves. Stay focused. Stay driven, be conscious of your purpose, live out your truth and surround yourself with people who build you up and inspire you to be the best version of yourself.
Are you looking for collaboration with fashion talents, brands and creatives? If yes, please state what type of collaboration you are looking for?
I'm very interested in doing work for a magazine, for my work to be featured in one. I love fashion, and I'd love to do a shoot for a fashion shows such as Mercedes Benz, Cruz just to name a few.
