Our readers would love to get to know you more Lori. Tell us about yourself, what is unique about you?
I am 25. I have the most amazing friends and family. I can sing. I love fashion. I love clothes. I'm pretty much just trying to figure out this thing we call life.
Lori, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Model?
Truthfully I'm just starting out as a model. I've always been interested in pursuing this dream of mine but I have never had the belief in myself. I woke up a few weeks ago and realized I'm not happy. I work in the fashion industry and don't get me wrong, I live and thrive in this fast-paced corporate world but it wasn't giving me what I wanted out of life. My goal now is to travel, inspire, be inspired, live life, love, smile and be happy.
Who is your inspiration in life Lori? How do you keep inspired?
My Mother. She has taught me to be strong when you feel broken, to give without expecting something in return, to feel compassion, to power through, to work hard and to be the best version of yourself.
We all make mistakes Lori, we wish we could take back. Please tell us about a time being a Model, you wish you’d handled a situation differently with a colleague.
Because I'm a new up and coming Model, I can't say I've really had a terrible experience. What I can say is that in The Fashion Corporate world, never fall into the negativity traps and the office gossip sessions...it consumes you and makes you resent aspects you should not.
Lori, when you’re working with a large number of clients, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. As a Model, how do you go about prioritizing your clients’ needs?
Always be professional. You are building your brand and what you put out in the world is what you will get back in return. Schedules and organization!
Please tell us, Lori, about a time you had to be very strategic in order to meet all your top priorities as a Model?
I'm still getting Into the swing of things but I would say the key is to always plan and be prepared.
Lori, please give us an example of a time when you were able to successfully persuade someone to see things your way at work.
I was extremely confident and believed in my way...the rest followed.
Lori, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Model. There might be many, but there is always this proudest moment that you just want to share with everyone. What is it and why?
I am still new to this venture and have yet to share my proudest moment....when the day comes...and I believe it will....I will shout it from the rooftops.
Lori, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?
I'm currently collaborating with photographers and makeup artists in order to expand our portfolios...I would say choosing the looks, body expressions etc. all become an extension of your creative self.
What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Model?
Believe in yourself. Push yourself. Love yourself. Accept constructive criticism and better yourself. Be who you were born to be.
Are you looking for collaboration with fashion talents, brands, and creatives? If yes, please state below what type of collaboration you are looking for?
The dream would be to be in a high fashion campaign with top models such as Gigi & Bella Hadid...
