I love natural light. Every time I can I work with that. And if-if I have those conditions I love to use matte in postproduction
L.ina, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as a Photographer?
It was what moved me, what makes my heartburn. So I know that I had to follow this path.
Who is your inspiration in life Lina? How do you keep inspired?
Ohh that's an amazing number of great people out there that inspire me greatly!! Sebastião Salgado, Steve McCurry, Richard Avedon, Adriana Carolina ( Brazilian wedding photographer), Rembrandt, Edgar Degas and so much more! I have an ok list links on my computer with the work of people that inspire me... It's a big list!
We all make mistakes Lina; we wish we could take back. Please tell us about time being a Photographer; you wish you’d handled a situation differently with a colleague.
Most of the time I work alone, but sometimes the event or production is big, and envolve So many people that you need a hand.Few years ago I got a big event to photograph, and I needed a second photographer. The town that I live in is small so that I could handpick a photographer; I choose one that I didn't know as a person, only the work I could see on the internet. She has great pictures, but a really difficult personality, I wish I put more effort and time to know the kind of person that I would work with... it was a long night.
Lina, when you’re working with a large number of clients, it’s tricky to deliver excellent service to them all. As a Photographer, how do you go about prioritizing your clients’ needs?
My clients come first. I work to please their needs and exchange ideas about it.
Please tell us, Lina, about a time you had to be very strategic to meet all your top priorities as a Photographer?
My priority is quality, so I am constantly studying and learning everything I can. I plan my studies for the month, and I am very restrictive about this routine.
Lina, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully.
During a mini session, with a teenager. She wanted something, and I said calmly and explained with some of the pictures that my idea would be better... With time she agreed. It's just about communication.
Lina, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Photographer. There might be many, but there is always this proudest moment that you want to share with everyone. What is it and why?
A session that I did exactly what I have in mind, it was free and creative, and I was extremely happy with the results.
Lina, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?
The same situation above. It was a great experience for me. It took me a lot of planning, but completely worth it! Was a moment of pure creativity for me.
What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Photographer?
Don't freak out! Go slowly, step by step. Find out what you like and invest time in it!
Are you looking for collaboration with fashion talents, brands and creatives? If yes, please state what type of collaboration you are looking for?
